Fettuccine with sundried tomatoes and chicken

This was our first time coming here amd I have to say, we will definitely be returning. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is classic Italian style, sit down restrestaurant with a game room for children. You can come here for a nice evening out as a date or bring the family and have a fun casual evening. I ordered the fettuccine with sundried tomatoes and chicken. Perfectly prepared. The chicken was nice and moist, with the peperfect texture, al dente pasta, and a beautiful creamy alfredo sauce. 10/10 Oh, and the breadstick was so soft and warm. My husband ordered a pizza with peperoni, Italian sausage, pastrami, and black olive. He's quite the pizza connoisseur, and he also says 10/10. We showed up just before 5pm on a Friday and it was not busy at all. Leaving the parking lot at 6pm however was a bit difficult. Quite a few people started coming into the shopping center around that time. Overall, 10/10.

$2 to go ketchup

What an awful experience. Poor customer service. Stood waiting at the front for 10 minutes to pick up an order without being acknowledged. Charged an extra $2 for ketchup to go with the wedges. Who does this?

Absolutely loved the food, the staff was super friendly & food was quick to come out. Peroni on tap We'll definitely be returning.

Buffalo Chicken "Strips"

Have always loved slice of Italy, haven't gone in a while so I figured let's ring in the new year with it, Ordered nearly $75 in food, and one item was their buffalo chicken tenders. You'd think for $14 you'd get a decent amount right? Wrong. What you'll get is 5 chicken fries, soggy, not hot. Called to get a refund but nope they want you to wait until some manager is there and the gal on the even stated they recently "changed the recipes for those". So basically you know you're ripping people off? The pizza is good but customer service and value for your money isn't worth it.

Pastrami Sandwich

The service was good she was very kind and didn't need to write our order down, that's impressive. We ordered an alcoholic beverage, water and soda. The alcoholic beverage was the special for the day and was not very good. The other drinks were normal. Now the food we ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries, large pizza, fettuccine Alfredo, and a calzone as entrees. The calzone was not cooked all the way through, meaning it was still doughy and cheese was not melted all the way. For starters we ordered mozzarella sticks they were dark and over cooked. We also ordered cheese garlic bread, they did not use fresh garlic. The other food was good, the pizza was the best thing here. The restaurant itself was clean and had nice music playing while you dine. The whole experience was ok, unfortunately we will not be dining here again. The bill was too much for all the discrepancy.

Strawberry Salad

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered my favorite Strawberry Salad with Chicken. They never disappoint!

Chicken piccata with vegetables and risotto on the side, accompanied by a glass of house Chardonnay. The risotto was to die for.

First and foremost, I would like to give kudos once again to the mixologist that works at Slice of Italy lounge. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and comes up with some outrageous drinks that you want to come back again and again. Jeffrey the mixologist is wonderful and willing to please. Now comes the not fun part and I really hate that I need to share this. But there has been a change in the chef department. He's not the chef they used to have, but he's pretty damn good. The wait staff lead in the food portion of the building, needs to go back to customer service training. She's never smiles very rude, abrupt, and you could not pay me enough to sit in the food portion of the restaurant. Also, can someone please explain to me just because the food portion of the restaurant has no customer customers why they need to close the lounge? People are waiting out the door to get into the lounge. For some reason just because the food lead management lead choose to closed the food portion of the restaurant doesn't mean you need to close the bar at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night. People are standing outside the door just to come in to be told the bar will be closing in 15 minutes. Which makes no sense to me because I'm sure the bar tabs are much larger than what they receive in the food portion of the restaurant. Closing that early on a Friday and Saturday night is so ridiculous. I can't even begin to explain. So you're sending me to some other restaurant that stop serving alcohol at 11 PM 12 PM? Why go to the lounge if the hours are so restricted because of the Food staff. Somebody really needs to do a receipt check and figure out that the bar probably brings in far more money than the restaurant portion of the Slice of Italy. I'm a single mom and sometimes I wanna let my hair down and I do not wanna go home at 9:30 just because the bar will not serve me because the kitchen has told them they are closed. So close the kitchen food does not have to be served. Whoever ever thought of that is completely ridiculous. Again this is my opinion and I'm sure many other people out there. Agree as well. Why close something that is going good just because the lead staff has decided to close the kitchen. Also kudos to Andy and Michelle who worked their butts off, trying to make everything runs smoothly between the kitchen and the bar.

We only decided to…read moregive it a try while browsing Uber Eats and noticed they had a great deal going on...free zeppoles plus 20% off a $25 order. For our most recent order, we got a large combination pizza with pink sauce, a large garden salad with ranch, and an order of zeppoles with chocolate caramel dipping sauce. Let me just say, the pizza with pink sauce was amazing. It may not sound like the most enticing combo, but it was so good. The salad was pretty standard, but the zeppoles were dangerously addictive. They reminded me of beignets, and that dipping sauce was absolutely fire. I will say that sometimes the order doesn't come exactly right, although that could just as easily be an Uber Eats issue rather than the restaurant itself. Either way, the flavor and the deals have more than made up for it. We'll definitely be ordering from here again, and hopefully dining in sometime too... depending on how well the kids behave

The Good: the price is reasonable. It's on the cheaper side and not much more than fast food delivery pizza. Staff was cordial and it was ready for pick up in record time. I ordered garlic on my pizza and they had fresh garlic. That's a huge plus considering many pizza establishments put minced pickled garlic from a jar on the pizza. The Bad: The pizza tasted like fast food pizza. The dough has a certain texture and doughiness reminiscent of Pizza Hut while the cheese tasted like it came from Costco. The spaghetti was the most disappointing part of the meal. There were only three meatballs in the spaghetti with meatballs and it had a weird taste and kick to it that reminded me of jarred Mexican salsa. It wasn't arrabiata. Inexcusably, there was so little sauce in the pasta that not a single plate could cover the noodles. It may have earned a higher score if my expectations were fast food, low quality pizza

Not many places can make a sturdy thin slice, with a done undercarriage and to pack as much of flavor as possible into a slice. Definitely worth the drive from anywhere in town, to grab one, two or even three pizzas. I'll reiterate that this is top tier pizza. Quality ingredients, made right and cooked to perfection. Spoke to whoever runs their social media and social called about specialty pizzas, which they created on the spot (Seen in the pictures I posted). When ordered over the phone, they were very helpful with sizes of pizzas and sides and how many each of them serve. The restaurant itself is equipped to serve mainly takeout. They have seating outside but it's very limited. The overall atmosphere is busy and loud, with sports always playing on their tv's. The restaurant is super clean and ready for pickups. Make sure to ask for ranch, especially when you order two large orders of wedges and forget the ranch. Overall, we will be returning for pizza and trying different variations of their pizzas. Love this place and I know for a fact everyone in my family was super impressed with this place. Keep up the great work Slicers.

The pizza is great if you can get it when it's hot…read more We ordered pizza for pickup, when I arrived only two guest dining-in eating pizza already. There were a few employees behind the counter, nobody came to the front to assist me. I have nerve damage in my lower extremities so standing for too long hurts. Not to mention, there's a sign on the counter that's says pizza that is done will be placed on the counter, and to have a seat if the pizza isn't there. So I sat. I'm sitting in the dinning area, table directly in front of the checkout counter, I'm facing the checkout counter. An employee even walked out right by me, made eye contact, checked out the salad bar and then went back to the kitchen without ever asking if I needed assistance or if anyone had helped me yet. A little time goes by, employees are walking around the kitchen where they can see me, nobody coming out to ask how they can help me or to take my order. Some other woman comes in and kitchen staff immediately come to the front counter to help her. I got up to get in line now that some customer service is being offered but a family rushed in the line ahead of me to order. So I'm just standing there, with our pizza done and ready getting cold sitting up on top of their oven, not out on the counter where the sign says pizza is placed when it's done. While I'm standing there waiting for the customer in front of me to finish ordering and paying, another employee comes out to the checkout counter, makes eye contact with me but turns his back and starts sorting ranch. He could have easily just grabbed our finished pizzas and breadsticks and brought it out to me since we had already paid online, or maybe even just asked, "how can I help you?" Any of the many times he made eye contact with me, but he didn't. I was completely ignored. It was finally my turn to get some help. I asked where the pizza is kept once it's finished, so the server pointed to the top of the oven where they pulled our pizza down from. The pizza wasn't even warm enough to feel heat coming from the boxes when they handed them to me. Why I had to wait for others to come in and kick the kitchen staff into customer- service mode is beyond me, unless their kitchen staff is all racist? What other reason could this behavior be? Staff should be rushing to the counter to help every customer the same. So tell me why I was ignored the way I was, yet the kitchen staff rushed in to provide service to other people before me as soon as they walked in? This pizza isn't good enough to be eating it cold and hard after being treated poorly by staff. Get rid of the sign instructing online orderers to have a seat and wait if you're not going to assist customers sitting in your dining room.
