This deserves a higher rating! Great views, huge portions, yummy meal. We ordered both the pretzel bites and onion rings to share. Portions were so huge we took most back home. All the sauces were great but the queso was the best in my eyes. Then I ordered the Cobb salad which was also HUGE! The shrimp were plump and juicy. The chicken definitely had a kick. This is the most beautiful pub I've ever been to, with the most breathtaking views. Located at Blue Mountain (Summit Lodge) you can drive directly there and park in the free lot. Or, you can take a scenic chair lift from Valley Lodge and hike 1 mile down the mountain for a little more adventure, like we did. The menu is extensive-typical pub fare with some seasonal offerings. Everything was fair to good. And service was great! But, you cannot beat that view! We inadvertently became wedding crashers as we lingered to watch two weddings take place, which were so beautiful on the warm, autumn day, against the majestic backdrop. The view is stunning. The reservation process was easy, and since we arrived early, they managed to fit us in. The appetizer, pretzel bites, arrived promptly. As it got busier, it took some time to receive two of the three meals we ordered. We didn't see our waitress, and the third meal never arrived. When we reminded the staff, they admitted to forgetting. The place got quite crowded, and it seemed they didn't have enough staff. When they did bring the hot chicken sandwich the onion rings were dry and cold. The chicken was neither hot nor spicy and was overcooked. However, the salads and hamburger that my companions ordered were good. The music was fantastic, and dining outdoors was wonderful. Given the situation, I'd lower my expectations for food quality. Next time, I would get pizza and order everything at once. read more

Went here for the first time in Sept and got to eat outside at their lovely patio with a panoramic view. Wait staff (Alex) was friendly, competent and helpful. We started with drinks: my pino Grigio was chilled nicely and very good; my husband's drink of a Black Russian (light on the kahlua) had to be remade as it had way too much kahlua and tasted too sweet. Hubby got a steak sandwich and I got the pulled pork sandwich. Both were good but mine promised 'super slaw' on the sandwich and there really wasn't much there. It was good so I would've enjoyed more! Both sandwiches were about $15 each. They came with house made chips that were heavy with Old Bay seasoning (I would've just preferred salt). It was a nice drive there and very pleasant to sit outside, although in winter, the large windows probably have a nice view too. We'll try them again. read more

Stunning atmosphere. Would recommend going before it gets dark so you can see outside. The burgers are okay, too greasy but decent sized. Fish & chips were better than if you bought frozen but also not anything amazing. The fries I would upgrade to the bacon aioli fries which was worth the extra $2 for sure. Drinks are decent. Given that there isn't much food options in the area this would still be the spot I go to - pricey for the quality you get, but also convenience from the slopes. It is way better priced and quality food compared to the cafeteria down at bottom of blue mountain slopes. Service was a little slow but they were super busy. This place was just okay. It's clear the management here is a problem--the place isn't run well. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, it took 50 minutes for us to get our food. It seemed like the waiter forgot about our order because the manager kept calling them over for every little thing, leaving them sidetracked. Seriously, help your staff or step back and let them do their jobs! The waiter was nice and tried their best, but they can only do so much. Throughout my visit, I noticed a pattern: I ordered food, and the manager called them over. I asked for a straw, and the manager called them over again. Then I asked for the check, and the manager did it yet again. It was frustrating--either lend a hand or let your team work without unnecessary interruptions. read more

First time here, first time on blue mountain, im made a believer. Heard about the crowds of course but hey welcome to the sport enjoy the social aspect of it all or rent out the entire mountain like my girl wants me to do SMH. Went with bar seating with two buddies of mine, as always, we got there at 11am when they open, there was a small line but we got good seats (limited at the bar here, maybe 12). Very larger restaurant and done up nicely. The bar service was top notch and with a smile. I got some boneless wings, sweet potato fries and a dirty snowman drink ( hot chocolate, vanilla vodka, baileys and whip cream, BANGINGGGG). The wings come in multiple different sauces and a good serving size. The fries cane in a heaping pile, i do wish they were more crunchy (a little soggy for me). Ive attached a pic of the some food of course. The service was all the rave to me, friendly, good covnersationalist and just very good with timing of checking on ya. When you come to ski at Blue Mountain on a Tuesday, it's kind of deserted and you have pretty much the whole slope to yourself and your merry band of hooky players. But because of the small amount of people, the food facilities are limited as well to the Valley Café and the the Slopeside Pub & Grill at the upper lodge. If you park at the bottom and come over from the other side of the mountain, you have to traverse the Connector trail to get here. Otherwise, you have to park up here to start. Slopeside is a sitdown bar & restaurant, which we normally don't do when we're skiing. We usually grab a dog or burger from the self-service cafeteria and get back on the slopes. But since it was so slow, we took it easy and grabbed a table to eat on real dishes with real silverware (even though it was mostly finger food). It's a little weird to walk into a restaurant with full ski gear (Herman Munster boots, snow pants & jacket, helmet googles & gloves) and start stripping it off, so you can eat in comfort. But since it was slow, they gave us a table for 6 for our group of 3, so that we could manspread. We started with the French Onion Soup and the Soup du Jour was a Cream of Potato and Leek. Both were under seasoned and my potato soup was not hot, but the melted cheese on the French Onion had a nice garlicky taste. My son's Groomer Burger was pretty good topped with applewood smoked bacon, both American and Cheddar cheeses, onion rings & BBQ sauce. My Crab Cake Sandwich was tasty as well, but after skiing for 4 hrs, any food was a delight. The fries were seasoned flour coated, similar to Burger King's and crispy. The standout was the Garlic Parmesan Wings being super crunchy and popped with flavor. I can get used to this, but it makes it harder to get all your gear back on and back to mashing the white stuff after you lazed around for an hour. Maybe I'll go for a real nice steak next time and skip the rest of the afternoon and nap in the lodge. That 16oz cowboy ribeye is taunting me... read more

We are upgrading the reviews we've left on Google previously to something more complimentary. The food was good. I had a Cali Club which is a large portion of deli turkey with cheese and greens on who grain toast. My companion had fish and chips. The servings were generous and flavorful. The service by Safwat was professional, attentive, friendly but not obsequious. Just right and I liked that. The ambiance is not my style. It's large, open, noisy. The chair legs really should have silicone caps so they slide easier and are quiet when picked up and set down. Pricey, but a nice change from the standard restaurant fare. read more

Went for a drive from NJ and this looked like a good place for dinner. It sure was! Started outside but by the time dinner came we moved in since it got chilly. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We went on 1/2 price wing night and that was a great surprise! Also had $5 selected draft beer, Sam Adams was an option and it was freezing cold! . Partner had a burger which was good and I had the chicken salad croissant. Very good. We were too full for dessert but will try next time. I went to Slopeside with a group of work friends for a holiday get together. I was the first one there from my party and I initially sat at the bar to wait for my party because I didn't know how many people were coming in total. While I perused the beer list, I ordered a soda water. I almost always do this when drinking as an anti-hangover hack. The bartender gave me some attitude when I ordered the soda water. This happens to me from time to time; I think they assume I'm taking up a bar spot and that's all I'm going to order. I brushed this off and figured his attitude would improve when we saw I was actually going to order real drinks. I offered my card to open a tab, which he declined. As people from my party started to arrive, we mingled in the bar table seating area. Again, I offered my card to the bartenders to make it easy to keep a tab open for me, and they again, declined. Not that many people showed up (I believe 8 in total), so we just stayed at a high top table after checking to make sure that was okay. I told the bartender which people were together and ordered my party not to change seats. (I was a server/bartender for over a decade, so I know big parties can be annoying when they do this.). I even made a joke about how he could call me "red shirt" on the tab or whatever, again...I used to do this for a living and I know what people do to make it hard. We all ordered food and drinks. The drinks are horrendously overpriced. I got a beer in a can and they were $9 each. This isn't the fault of the serving staff, but I thought it worth mentioning. When it came time to leave, the bartender brought the check and I asked for it to be split. He said they couldn't split it. I started to point out who was together (like I had done at the beginning of our service) and he flat out refused. He said we were just going to have to figure it out. I put the entire several hundred dollar bill on my card and luckily was sober enough to roughly calculate what everyone owed me. It all worked out, but it took me about 30 minutes and definitely killed my buzz. I still tipped exactly 20% because, with Christmas being days away, I couldn't bring myself not to, but overall, the service was very disappointing. I have never had a server flat out refuse to split a check before. I indicated many times we were on separate checks and did everything I could to make it as easy as possible. In the end it kind of felt like the bartenders combined the check on purpose to be lazy. With the overpriced drinks, the mid food, and the terrible service, I will not be back. Sucks because I get invited here a lot and see events they're hosting that I'd love to go to, but the experience was just so bad. read more

The view was awesome and the food tasted great. However, I ordered the cheese steak with extra cheese and to have the cheese mixed all around with the meat. I got neither. It was also only half a cheesesteak for an eye watering $18. The menu did not mention the size of the roll in any way so it was definitely a little deceptive. Also, I finished my soda pretty early on in my visit and my server never once offered a refill. So I had to finish my meal being rather thirsty. It was a beautiful late spring day and nothing sounded better that eating outside and enjoying a lovely view. With that on my mind I came up to Slopeside Pub & Grill for dinner. We were quickly greeted when we came in and asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating, we asked for outdoor. We were not disappointed by the view. It is a lovely view of the mountain and the valley below. The view was the best part of our dining experience. The service was also good, our waitress was attentive and friendly. She was spot on with drink refills. She was also great with clearing stuff of the table, that was a life saver being outside, she prevented a lot of stuff from being blown down the mountain. The issue with this place is the cost and value of the food. It is pretty expensive, think $20 for a burger and $15 for the appetizers. It's not that I mind paying that much for quality food, but this food was average run of the mill food. So in my mind the cost does not match up with what you are getting. Overall not worth coming for the food, but if you want to grab a bite to eat with some beautiful views then give this place a try. read more

Wonderful views for dining in the warmer months. Pre Covid-19 atmosphere was fantastic and a great place to take a date, or to relax by yourself next to the firepit. They used to have bands playing outside/inside depending on the weather starting on Thursdays to Saturday, but all of that has changed obviously. There is plenty of parking outside as well as plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. There is also a wraparound bar with seating outside where smoking is permitted. Outdoor dining only areas are non smoking. In the Spring & Fall, they have numerous fire pits that you can sit around. Some are wood burning and some or use propane. It's a great atmosphere to relax with family & friends. The servers, bartenders and management are very nice and respectful. A few years ago the food was questionable but they've since hired a new chef and the food has been really good. Wings, fries, salads are awesome. Look for daily specials on food and drinks during the Spring to fall season. I would definitely recommend coming here to dine and relax with friends, family or by yourself. read more

It's so pretty to sit out on the patio and enjoy the mountains. The chairs are comfortable and the staff is nice. The food just isn't good. We hiked a mile to get to the restaurant from the scenic chair lift. And paid $65 the nastiest meal for 2 I've consumed as of late. Why is a basket of 3 chicken fingers (actually 2 chicken fingers and a lost piece of fish fillet because my order was messed up and just thought the food was supposed to taste like that) and a pinch of fries $15? I didn't expect much from this restaurant and so I guess you can say my expectations were met. read more

The view of the place is amazing. Outdoor sitting is nice, but... There were so many nasty looking bugs... We had to retreat to indoor. The tables were spaced out enough that we felt comfortable. Think this place deserves more than 3 stars! The ambiance and service is great. They put a lot of energy into their drink menu and sitting outside on a nice day is worth 5 stars alone. I would call the food goooodish. Not excellent and not vile but just good. The service was great considering our wait staff had other tables and we were busy talking rather than looking at menu- but the staff was so so friendly. The view, entertainment and many bar options is exceptional. The food was very good, I recommend the key lime fries for an appetizer and blueberry vodka ade:) The Asian salad was great, hubby ordered bison Mac and cheese- it was okay, just mac and cheese with meat- stewed tomatoes would have been a good addition. Good food with a nice view, great atmosphere; Loved the BBQ shrimp I really enjoyed my first visit to Slopeside. This restaurant will stand on its own in any location but they take good advantage of the mount top location as well. I was intrigued by the BBQ shrimp dish and was very pleased with the presentation and taste. The BBQ flavor was mild and softened with a sauce that went well with the mashed potations at the center of the dish. The topper of sausage slices added to the bbq motif. The shrimp was large and plentiful, I paired this with a Cutrer-Sonoma Chardonnay that was citric and slightly buttery, nice with the light bbq flavor of this dish. However, when we brought my sister from Tennessee for lunch today, the hostess told us that you were serving only pizza until 4:00. HOW DISAPPOINTING! Last week one of your staff told us that a new person had taken over the management and informed everyone that numerous changes were coming. We are saddened to hear the news and want you to know that these changes will negatively affect the workers and the visitors. You will lose many customers if you keep this up! read more
