Giving the community something they usually don't have. A fast food restaurant/gas station that is constantly open. Patton has had a Sheetz for as long as I can remember. This one is basically brand new, you can read that as there was a location already in Patton, but they needed to grow and expand the footprint, so here we have a newer location. This has been happening a lot recently in areas, which is good. The company is thriving and that location is thriving. Or they wouldn't be there in the first place. The lot for this location is rather large. Giving you enough room to move about and get what you need done and move on. Plenty of pumps to handle a crowd. If I remember correctly they had 88 fuel. Inside is the typical setup of the newer locations. Easy to find items, clean restrooms, and of course MTOs. Always nice to see the red awning when you are running on fumes in your car. In this portion of PA, you are almost guaranteed to find a Sheetz.

Half of the store has snacks and drink coolers and the other half is set up where you could sit and eat from their small restaurant/grill. They also had signs up everywhere about them converting part of the store into a beer cave. Up this way, that will be a big seller. I was looking for firewood (which they have an abundance of outside in front of the store) since the stuff the park was selling was wet and didn't burn nice at all plus some charcoal which this place does not carry (no biggie as the aforementioned Dollar General has a large Kingsford display as soon as you walk in the front door). If you're at Parker Dam, this place isn't too far from the cabins at about five miles and with it being open 24/7 + having gas it really is a convenient place to stop if you're in the area.

After a long day of shopping and on my way back home I decided to stop here to refuel myself. I pulled into the lot and have to note that this building is shared between the Sheetz and a bank. Some of the fell of busy here can be attributed to that. Enough pumps on the lot to fuel your car if that is what you stop is for. Inside it is spacious and all around clean. The facilities were well taken care of and easy to use. I was in want of a slushie type drink and made my way to that area. There were plenty of frozen drinks to choose from, I ended up goin with the watermelon flavor. Talk about a sugar rush. One sip of that drink and I was wired for the rest of the day. Customer service was pretty epic. They went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. As well as to make sure that the line moved quickly and there wasn't that long of a wait.

These guys are really great. I got stuck with a flat tire just off route 80. Not a single shop in…read morethe area had my tire size and AAA took 3 hours to get to me. Irwin's still offered to take a look and even let me know that they had found a used tire in the right size if need be. By the time AAA finally came, Irwin's was about to close. They waited open for me and stayed open a half hour past close. Not only this, but instead of a fast repair like a plug that would have gotten them home faster, they took the time and did a great job on a full patch of the tire and made sure that the pressure on all the other tires was fine. The entire time, the owners sat in the waiting room and chatted with me and were extremely pleasant. Not to mention, the price at the end was extremely reasonable. This was by far my best experience at an auto shop; excellent service and people.
