I did my best reseaching online 1200 miles away, because I needed a surveyor to do a job on a home I'm buying in Mansfield Ohio. I reached out to friends at the local police department, asking around. The name Matt Hanning kept coming up as THE MOST RELIABLE surveyor in the tri-county area. I initiate contact with Matt from South Florida and I'm glad I did. He was able to provide me with some initial information that I needed. He even volunteered to head out to the property to take a look, providing me with some initial answers.... Thanks Matt!!!...I then met with Matt, weeks later when I was in Mansfield for the closing of our home. First meeting with Matt, I utilized what I was taught in the 25 years as a Police Officer, looking at his body language to seek deception and or if he was hiding anything...Let me tell you what I learned. 0% deception detected. He was very open and extremely friendly. As a matter of fact, the best term I can describe Matt, is that he is the kind person that you would want to date your sister or a friend.....He then completed the job at the timeline he promised, but faster. His price was extremely fair and his final drawing, exceptional. I had top companies Surveying properties for me over the years in South Florida and Matt's work is up there with them....So if your looking for surveyor, Matt Hanning is your guy!!!!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY their realtor: Crystal Tieche who is THE most narcissistic,…read moreuntrustworthy, unprofessional, unethical person I've ever dealt with. Awful at her job, and just an awful human being in general. Firstly, she bombarded us with texts and calls and emails while we were IN THE HOSPITAL with our baby who was on life-support and dying, pressuring us to sign her contracts!!! WHO DOES THAT?! After our daughter died, she shoved her religion down my throat. Even after I respectfully told her I was not religious, she told me that we had to sit down and have a talk so she could "change my perspective," she called my mother's religion "a cult," and was telling me that "all things work out for those who serve HIM." She then tried to use MY grieving as a way to make thing about HER, stating she "knew I was upset... with HER" when I was just having a bad day after losing my BABY. This was horribly insensitive and selfish of her!!! She was constantly telling us we should do things like rip up all of our carpet and replace all the flooring, and install an automatic garage door, while ALSO telling us we should do a price drop - literally only a week after going on the market (and then she tried to convince us to drop the price THE ENTIRE TIME we worked with her)!! She wanted us to put in tens of thousands of dollars of work, that we would NEVER see back on the sale of our house... Not only did she fail to effectively market our home, but she basically refused to do her job on several occasions when it came to showing our house (like blowing off agents who contacted me when I finally marketed it for sale MYSELF on FB marketplace... the agent even said they had buyers!), she just didn't put in an offer on a house we really wanted (and then LIED to us about it). This ultimately ended up with it going into contract with somebody else.. (luckily for us those buyers backed out and we still got our DREAM home! THANKFULLY it was AFTER we fired her and contacted the selling agent about putting an offer in on our own - so she didn't get a single cent of commission out of that!! She definitely DIDNT deserve it). She also frequently went behind my back and would sneakily text my husband outside of our group text, trying to get him to make real estate decisions about the sale of MY house without me!? She attempted to pressure him into looking at houses on his own that we ALREADY told her multiple times we weren't interested in... she just kept trying to tell us that we should look at cheaper houses so we could accept a lower offer on ours!? She thought that she could manipulate and take advantage of my husband because of a chance encounter he had with her husband, one time, 10 YEARS BACK, and kept telling us "we're like FAMILY! I LOVE YOU GUYS," which made me very uncomfortable considering I'd known her all of 5 minutes. She used this "connection" to get far too personal by asking my husband very detailed financial questions, like how much he brought home on every check, what bills and utilities we paid for and how much, and other expenses... things NO realtor needs to know. We knew what we were approved for, and we knew what we could afford. Again, she was just trying to get us to look at cheap houses so we could accept a very terrible lowball offer that came through... She didn't care at all what our actual wants and needs were for a new home for our family. It was clear she did NOT have OUR best interests in mind, and that it was all about her making a quick turn around so she could get a commission.... Probably because she had less than 30 closings on her record in EIGHT YEARS (for context- the national average is 10-12 a YEAR for a full time realtor). She would also use the duration of her career as a way to manipulate when her decisions were being questioned (ie saying "well, I've been doing this for ten years, I know what I'm doing" ... first of all, it was 8 years, and apparently she doesnt). She insisted we list low because it would be a BIDDING WAR on our house!! This never happened.. She also never informed us that her commission was negotiable (per the law AND the code of ethics- which apparently meant nothing to her, as she violated MANY ethics codes). In the 3 MONTHS we worked with her, it was just one nightmare after another. After finally getting rid of Crystal, we got in touch with a much more COMPETENT and professional realtor, SHE didn't tell us we needed to put even another cent into "fixing" our house to sell it (like Crystal constantly did), we got a BETTER offer on our house and went into contract in less than a WEEK!!! When I left a review on the Haring Realty FB page, with text PROOF of her unethical and unprofessional behavior, no one ever even reached out to me... what they did was- they completely turned off the ability to leave reviews on their page at all just so the public couldn't see my review!!! DO NOT CHOOSE HARING REALTY AND ESPECIALLY DONT USE CRYSTAL.
