Yes it's pricey but worth it for tourists like me. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. The staff is friendly and will happily answer any questions and point out their suggestions.

The chocolate is still made by the same family that has owned the shop for generations. This chocolate shop has drawers of chocolates to sift through. This used to be a button shop for the royalty. The drawers were full of buttons that the royalty could pick from to be on their clothes. Now the drawers are filled with buttons of delicious chocolates. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Besides, who could be sour in a chocolate shop. It was some of the best chocolate we have ever had. We are keeping the hot chocolate mix for our trip to Tahoe later this year. It will be a way we can relive our amazing trip. I wanted to say thank you to the staff for being so friendly and helpful in selecting our chocolate. I gave it one Euro sign, but you could easily get carried away in here. We spent over $40 of chocolate because we knew we weren't going to be back anytime soon.

Crisp, refreshing, and absolutely delicious--this was easily one of my favorite wine experiences in Vienna. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We enjoyed our wine sitting at the communal tables right outside, surrounded by the energy of the market. There's something really special about sipping a great Austrian wine while watching the market bustle around you. Urbanek is a small, unassuming spot, but it has such a local, authentic Vienna feel. If you're exploring Naschmarkt and want to stop for a fantastic glass of Austrian wine, definitely make your way to Urbanek!

Not saying that I can't appreciate spices, olives baklava, and falafel, but I could use some variety in the Naschmart. I went for the sampler plate. All the recommended foods were excellent. The assortment of meats were all hits. Probably the best were the hams for me, but the cheeses were great as well. Both brothers were pretty nice, with Thomas talked to me most of the time. He offered more bread if I wanted it. The locals sitting next to me all told me that I made the right decision to come. The decor inside looks pretty old-world, with a variety of meats and cheese hanging in this super tiny place. Yes, I will be back if I get to visit Vienna again.
