Now, I'm a reasonable person, but consider people's word to be the MOST important part of a business relationship. In this case, my money - through the contractor - to their word. Well, today Michelle said, although the doors were to be picked up TODAY, that now it could be April 15th. Maybe sooner, maybe later. That is the antithesis of good business practice. I called her myself because she REFUSED to give my money back. She said it was a special order. Now tell me that a millworker company does NOT know that their doors are backordered. They just take the order and then wait to give the sob story that it's not THEIR fault, those darned supplies JUST dried up. Really? I mean, seriously?? We've been screwed by insurance, screwed by the Texas contractor, and now I guess we're in line to get screwed again. As if not having a home since August isn't bad enough. :-( I can 'special order' doors through Home Depot and all of our neighbors have gotten them already.
