I've been going to Smart Tax for a few years now and have been more than pleased with the results of my returns each time. Tommy makes it so simple and breaks it down so the average person can understand why their refund is what it is. Sometimes it's not feasible for me to go to the office, so emailing my paperwork is a breeze. If I go to the office, they make it a very friendly and comfortable environment. I had such a fantastic experience here. Due to my busy work schedule, I ended up waiting until the last minute to come in to get my taxes done. My accountant, Matthew, could not be more helpful and professional. He answered every question that I had and even offered some more financial advice that was actually extremely applicable to my own business. Smart Tax is a lot cheaper than other more reputable companies and offers more personalized service- which can probably be attributed to the fact that it is a smaller, more individualized company. They provided a range of services and even gave me the option of emailing me all the paperwork instead of handing me stacks of paper I never needed. They also have a very organized system and presented me with my tax information I had filled the year before- so I was able to make comparisons and evaluate my spending from the previous years. Amazing place !! I must say I was very impressed with the service I recieved in this office. I work in the neighborhood and know how much people don't care about there jobs anymore. That's not the case here I was on my lunch break when I came across smart tax I went in for a estimate and explained I was being audited an wanted to know what to do about it . I was told to bring in all my papers and someone will help me fix all my problems so I went in the next day at lunch and sat down with a man at the front desk I don't recall his name but he was a young smart gentleman who told me that he had to read all documents and asked if i wanted to waste my lunch break in the office or come back when I get off work. I explained to him that my store closes at the same time as his he said "dont worry ill wait for you to get here". When I returned he was sitting there with a big smile on his face and explained to me that it wasn't so bad and what to do with the fines and how much I would be getting back and I was Shocked . After all my problems were done he said one more thing " As a new customer you received $50 off on your return " I now recommend this office to anyone who needs there taxes done .
