You know what- I actually really enjoyed the burger here and will go out on a limb and say it was better than the burger at Bourbon. Each time I've come here I either get the jalapeño Baja burger or the classic smash burger. The jalapeño Baja was quite tasty with fresh - not canned - jalapeños. The burger was the perfect size - not too big not too small. But the real show stopper are the rosemary garlic salt fries!!! To die for!!!! Definitely order those! The restaurant is nice and clean, but the food is lacking. The burgers are really greasy and unseasoned. I wanted to like the burgers....I really did. Hay stack onions are likely the best item on the menu, but after a while the salt heavy batter they are coated in becomes a bit overwhelming. In the end I was wishing I would have gone to Five Guys instead. They have potential here if they would just get a chef in the kitchen to teach the crew how to make the food taste better. read more

I was incredibly impressed with the service of this place. I came in with my fiancé and got our burgers well I have severe nerve damage and my hands will twitch so I dropped my burger all over myself the staff immediately helped me get myself and the sad remnants of my burger cleaned up and even remade me the burger. Kayla and Kaysha were amazing. Though it is a bit pricey the service is worth every penny spent and then some I will be returning and urge anyone else to come as well. read more

I had the Avocado burger. First of all, it was very pricey for the burger i got. The bacon was over cooked, I had a tiny slice of avocado that fell the moment I unwrapped the burger. The burger tasted very salty, as if they drop the salt in it. I do not recommend, I was very unsatisfied. read more

While the food is decent, the staff lacks courtesy and respect. This restaurant has a bad attitude and lacks the sense or training needed to treat customers with gratitude, this included the manager working register. We waited 45 minutes for food on our last visit and were not even offered a sorry let one a thank you. That was our last visit! read more

I have to say for a fast food joint this place is over the top! First of all they give top notch service, I honestly thought the first time going there it was just a fluke and I was lucky enough to hit it on a good day but this is their service EVERYDAY! Then you have the food, awesome burgers that are always juicy and grilled to perfection, bacon crispy, cheese melted just right and the bun warmed to complete the masterpiece. Went in to get 2 shakes and was not pleased. Paid 4.29 for each shake and they were small and only filled 2/3 of the way up. The rest was whipped cream. They were not thick at all. They were like drinking milk that was a little bit thick. Won't be getting a shake there again. read more

Very bad experience. The cashier was lost. We were trying to place a simple order and he just refused to understand & end up over charging us because I had to just give up. I got the original smash burger & added bacon with the standard fries. The fries are very thin & get cold quick. There flavor was OK. The burger was a bit thin but I did get the "regular". The bacon was three quarter sized pieces. However the burger tasted good & the bun & smash sauce was good. Was overpriced for what we got. Still my biggest problem was a cashier that would just grunt at us & took several minutes just for us to order. Just a bad overall experience. read more

This place just made my day. I indulged a little too much for breakfast that made me go way over my allowable calorie intake for the day. But hubby wanted to have lunch and his choice was this place. Make story short, I ordered spinach cucumber salad but for got to say no onion. When Christy saw that I was picking the onion she immediately said she'll make one without it. Another plus was the dressing being serve on the side which I ended up not using because the salad has fruit and was yummy enough. I gained my calorie points back. The food is good and they have Gluten Free buns with a dedicated fryer for GF fries. Both times I have been there, the food was good. However, the last time I was there, I was told that I should call before coming to see if they can clean the grill. Apparently the seasoning they use isn't gluten free so they have to clean the grill to do a gluten free burger and they can't do it if they're busy. I was excited about GF hamburgers on this side of town but we probably won't go often since we can't go when it's busy and have to call ahead to see if they can accommodate us. read more

I took my daughter there for a quick lunch. We really enjoyed it. It was a no frills burger joint. The hamburgers were fresh and tasted great as did the fries. We really had fun with the soda machines...trying all different kinds with vanilla, peach, lime, etc. If you want a "no frills" burger joint with good food then this is the place for you. read more

i think the burgers are ok,some look and tasted better than others that my friends that were w/me ordered.the fries & haystack onions were so salty i threw them away because when i spoke to one of the managers,darian was the name on her nametag,she was so rude,even rolling her eyes at me while i explained the problem & then she sat down w/what looked like her friends so she could eat.i then asked the young girl at the register for another manager & he came from the kitchen to talk to me but smelled & looked like he was high..this was my 1st & last visit but i do thank the last manager,i think his name was spencer & the 2 girls on the register,i only saw one of their name tags & her name was leslie. overrall the service sucked except for the people i spoke of in good because they need more people like spencer,leslie,and the other young lady without her name tag,especially for the prices being what they are.we customers shouldnt be treated like this by managers that smell or look high while they cook our food or managers that sit & eat plus get attitudes when there's an issue we customers bring to them. i felt like she didnt want to be bothered so now smashburger wont have to worry about me "bothering" them again!! read more

i only gave the "ok" rating bc while the food is just ok,even though fresh ingredients are used,i always end up with cold or burnt fries or my burger is par-cooked which is sad since one of the asst. managers is the cook. i usually come to smashburger once or twice per week bc the customer service of one employee makes you come back & if the other employees & even the managers could take a que from her exquisite customer service & the sweat from her working hard to take care of each customers needs. she's mostly doing it by herself while other employees are rude,disrespectful,nor could care less if we customers return! i feel bad for whoever is over those managers/employees but the ones that have bad attitudes or act like they dont want to be there are darian & kenyatta (managers which is unfortunate for us customers) & a young girl who's name-tag spells zaia walks round eating or chit-chatting with darian when they're supposed to be working! everytime i come into smashburger,not only does leslie greet each customer with her smile but she goes above & beyond to make sure customers are taken care of properly.they should train their managers to act like leslie & they have added a new manager,i think she's a manager, named katie,who is perfect in managerial skills & making sure customers are appreciated so as long as people like katie & leslie are there then i will return!! read more
