It's nice that those who live in the community have their own neighborhood lake, which is easy to access and walk around with the paved walking trails around it. However, the lake purely is for the view. There is no swimming, fishing, boating or any other recreational activity allowed on the lake. There weren't even benches around the lake. Although there are signs around the area to not feed the ducks, word is that many residents disregard this rule and proceed to feed the ducks. Therefore, when the ducks see humans walking around, they start to follow. That was entertaining. It was nice to walk around and explore the neighborhood, but this is not a traditional lake, as this is purely for looks.

Not much for shade parking was easy and free, trails are what you'd expect trails but they were clear of trash and unkept they do look like they are doing phases for upgrades to this particular area. NOW 60 days out we are being told otherwise and with absolutely little care. This low on their part is going to cost us thousands of dollars. The front desk worker we spoke to today was so nonchalant and had no clue how to do the very basics of her job. To say I'm pissed is an understatement.

Adj: Fancy and Fun at Fountain Park…read more So while on a trip to AZ, we came to this park kind of on a whim because we were staying in Fountain Hills. It was close to the hotel we stayed at and I read some great things about this park and my kids loved playgrounds, so off we go. It's been redone so it did not always look so fancy schmancy, but let me tell you this town and neighborhood is quite well to do so I think the funding is not lacking. The park is right next to the man-made lake which is made famous because of the fountain that goes off multiple times every day! But back to the park, the playground really is fun. There's things to climb, slide down, run onto, jump up and down on, and even a zip-line like thing that was kind of scary for me (yes, I'm a scaredy cat). My kids had a great time on that thing and my son in particular went crazy on it going back and forth multiple times. Overall, this is a great park, the playground alone is worth a visit, but then there's covered seating area not far from the playground, and right next to that there's a musical section where you can hit on different metallic objects to make music! My kids really had fun w/those things. There are benches for parents to chill after exertions on the play structure. The view of the lake is nice from anywhere at the park too. Lovely and enjoyable. We would love to visit again.

This is one of the three pools that offers children's swim hours from 1p-4p. I wasn't sure what to expect, and I was so thrilled to find that the staff was very welcoming , even saying " We hope more children come today!"nThe pool is salt water and heated. There is also a large Jacuzzi ( Age restriction- must be 16 years old) . Like all the Recreation Centers, the grounds are IMMACULATE. There is also a fitness center, basketball and pickle ball at this location.
