Stay away from them - they don't respect the patients and their insurance - I went there to have the porcelain on one of my crowns replaced because it had cracked after 30 years. What they put in not only did not match my other crowns and teeth but they are trying to charge my insurance and me for some "Unknown procedure" (they will not identify this as they are not being cooperative in the least. Smile design Villages in Summer field don't know how to read insurance, they wanted to charge me 30 percent more and they have hidden fee, it's a scam. Nobody follow up with me even after my insurance send them my paperwork twice. Their office is so dirty, they make you wait in a small room, no water, filthy floors and grouchy front desk. They made me wait for 50 minutes before my appointment, I feel like their office is taking advantage of old people who don't have energy to review the cost and they agree to it without knowing about hidden fees. read more

please do not go to lisa hall! lisa was supposed to fix my crown , instead she accident knocked out two of my teeth , then she told me that she can no longer put my crown on because there is nothing there. i paid 1,800.00 to have my crown put on. not to mention lisa broke my tooth and she had to refer me to an oral surgeon. i had to pay 650.00 to the oral surgeon. i called lisa and asked to be compensated for the crown that she did not do, i was told that i could not get any on my money back! i highly do not recommend! read more

I gave 3 stars strictly for Dr. Feliciano. Her front desk manager, not so much. The office will not refund money that is due to me. The manager keeps putting me off and lying to me about my refund showing up on my credit card. I've been begging for my money since Dec 2022. I have called and stopped by to no avail. Take your teeth elsewhere! If they overcharge you, you won't get a dime back. Thieves! Thieves! And Liars. No wonder Desiree and Angie left. Good for them! $80.00 vs $455.00 SO, I just had two molar teeth surgically extracted by Dr. Burchfield at Greenberg Dentistry Eustis today. Although, like most dental offices, the front desk staff are very poor with customer service and treatment, the Dr. was awesome. He had those two nasty buggers out in under 4 minutes. I was in and out in say, 35-40 minutes total. He was friendly and professional. I saved $375.00 because I decided to NOT have Hall do it. Even after I researched it and told her that "FOAM" was not a necessity she would not remove it from my treatment. She was over charging me for the two extractions, added an unnecessary surgical irrigation charge(for each tooth) and an unneeded alveoloplasty. NONE OF THIS STUFF WAS NEEDED at Greenberg's. He pulled 'em, stitched 'em and just $80.00 lighter in the wallet I was on my merry way. IMHO, I believe Dr. Hall is out for the MONEY$$$$$. She has hit me up with overcharges on other work I regretfully had her do. I think she sees that her patients are mostly "VILLAGERS", having big pensions and high-end healthcare advantage plans, so she hits them up for as much $$$$$$$$$$ as she can get out of them. NOT ME ANYMORE !!!! I just remembered. When at Hall's for treatment I was in some pain from the abscess. She took my BP and it was high. She refused to treat me and sent me to my PC Dr. to get a permission slip for her to treat me. I do not have a BP problem. Otherwise my PC Dr would have me on BP meds, right? It is just always high at the dentists because of anxiety. She sent me on my way BUT I had to ask for a pain meds and antibiotic for the abscess-----------they did not even offer it. P.S. I am going to use some of the $375.00 I saved to donate to charity. The rest I'll spend on FUN STUFF !!! read more

I have been to this office 2 times in the past for dental cleanings without any problems. I also had full mouth x-rays showing no problems last year. I have my teeth cleaned every six months.I was going in for my rountine cleaning, this time they told me I had to have x-rays taken again because it is their policy to do them once a year. I told them I only wanted my teeth cleaned today. The dental technician said she had to check with the doctor reguarding my wishes. She came back and told me the doctor said no x-rays, no cleaning. Needless to say, I was taken aback and walked out. I am simply not going to be told that I need to put more radiation through my body when I don't want to.I have dental insurance and asked her how much it would cost me out of pocket. She said $85.00 There has to be several hundred dentists in this area, this office will not be hard to replace. read more

This place went above and beyond for me. I had 2 root canals started while I was abroad. I flew in to Florida right before hurricane Irma hoping that I could get my crowns done before I left again. I had two weeks to finish things up. I called just about every dentist within a 2-hour drive and this was the only one who agreed to help. Even after the storm knocked out the power, delaying my first appointment they still fit me in. A seemingly impossible task was done and I am grateful for it. I come from the medical field (I was an EMT for years) so I am cognizant if cleanliness. The whole place was kept impeccably clean. Everyone was incredibly nice from the front desk, to the dentist. Amazing job!! Thank you so much!! Side note - there are two dental offices in the same parking lot. This is the one that says laser dentistry in blue, not the one that says dentist in red. read more

What could I say? It took several temporary bridges to get to the real thing ( two were imperfect and caused problems and pain ) seems dental Assistants handle most of the work. One or two good ones others inexperienced or don't care My opinion way over priced. Bridge cost $4800 including an extraction. Quality of work fair to below par Final bridge feels as though it doesn't fit. Back tooth has a ridge that actually breaks my floss in two One tooth was filed down almost to nerve and became heat and cold sensitive They wanted over $7000 for an implant and two crowns. I found a dentist locally who charges $2800 for an implant and $600 for each crown almost half the price. Plus smile Design has to send you to an implant specialist Will be sending their company a letter of complaint and demanding a partial refund. Why is it that we seniors can't find a qualified dentist in the Villages Florida that we can trust? read more

I came to the office due to it being the first place I went to that accepted my insurance, I had to wait 5 months to even get an appointment - a log period of time, but I figured it's fine I was in no rush. Anyways it was time for my appointment I went and it was just a regular exam or checkup. I had no problem with the actual hygienist and dentist they were all really nice ladies. The exam was done and now I had to schedule another appointment for a cleaning, which was about another month. I'm kinda annoyed by it but once again I just let it slide and waited for the appointment. My appointment day finally comes and I go in 45 minutes early and I tell them my name, they couldn't find my name so they just asked me sit down. Then this Desiree lady makes me come up the the desk, she's sitting in a back corner and doesn't bother to stand up and come to the desk to talk to me like a professional customer service person would do; says they can't have me able to do the visit today, mind you I took a day off for this appointment. They said it was because I didn't "confirm" that I was gonna be there. Excuse me? I set up this appointment a month ago, why wouldn't I be there? They said it was "policy" and that I would have to reschedule, I'm not going to do that when this was their faults. I just said I'm just going to find a new dentist and Desiree did not care and just said well okay. She needs to learn to get some customer service skills before working with the public. BEWARE! Last year I lost my bridge because the dentist missed seeing decay on an x ray. Even after the hygienist pointed it out to him he did nothing. I was a dental assistant myself and know that this was a huge oversight. I have been trying to reach the corporate office numerous times to speak to them and try to resolve this but, have been blocked by a regional representative. So, beware of this company!
