It took me several years to get the strength and overcome my fear and shame , and ask for help . After meeting with some rude and judgmental dentists, I finally found dr Kallithrakas. I was very nervous at my first consultation. He was so calm , and friendly, and never judged me, he showed genuine concern and he was genuinely excited for the opportunity to help me ! I immediately felt so much better and really hopeful after so many years of suffering. We scheduled my surgery for full mouth implant restoration. My whole procedure was done in one day, dr Kallithrakas did everything in less than 6 hours with a break in between ! He worked with unbelievable precision and lightning speed ! I was conscious the whole time and never felt pain , and the recovery was smooth and fast , it took about 1 week ! After the surgery I went home with a full set of temporary upper and lower arches. I had 10 implants in total installed. During the whole process until the final , dr Kallithrakas and his team have been very supportive, responsive to all my concerns, so compassionate and really amazing, dealing with an anxious and neurotic patient as myself ! The dental assistants, Brianna and Ana, were so sweet and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with blankets and neck pillows, and help me with my anxiety and fears ! Jennifer as the office manager was my constant support and friend , and she efficiently dealt with my insurance claim ! Dr Kallithrakas is the best of the best , and he performed a miracle for me , and I will be forever grateful for him and his work, he is not only a consummate professional , but also an all around amazing person !!! So if anyone needs help, don't wait like I did , don't hesitate and schedule a visit with Dr Kallithrakas and his team today ! I'm not posting the before photos , they are pretty graphic, but you will see my final result and a fun Halloween photo with my hero Dr K

My dentist was hinting that something must be wrong with the actual implant! My Oral Surgeon basically told me to look elsewhere to get my crown done because it's NOT the implant/ OK.... so I found Dr. Ghalloub When I spoke with Dr. Ghalloub he was so friendly, upfront and easy to talk to. What I noticed mostly was that HE LISTENED and didn't consistently talk over me. I admit when I was first informed by Sharon on Dr. Ghalloub's staff that he doesn't use other dentists crowns I was ready to pull my hair out. Nevertheless, that was a blessing! After answering questions we set a date for me to come back for my implant impression. On my second visit it was time to get my crown installed! I was like....Ok..This better work! I could immediately tell the difference in skill when Dr. Ghalloub started actually maneuvering in my mouth, no fumbling at all!!! The process was as smooth as butter.!! It was like 1,2,3.. Ok your done! I had ad my crown placed in September of 2020 and have not had any issues whatsoever with my crown. It's solid as a rock! I highly recommend Dr. Ghalloub in addition to the professional manner of Sharon and Mara. They are pleasant, bright ladies who are a pleasure to deal with.

Doctors take the "Hippocratic Oath" to do no harm, but none exists for dentists. Some dental…read moreschools administer their version of it upon graduation, but there is no requirement. Think about that as you read my long overdue review, which is complex and painful for me to write, but represents my experiences. Me: a fearful patient due to a difficult dental history since childhood, with a low pain threshold, and high-quality requirement. I therefore need excellence, expertise, handholding and patience and explanations. Also: different levels of sedation, depending upon procedure. A periodontist praised South Broward Dentistry & Prosthodontics (SBD&P) as the dentistry "gold standard", and described Dr. Michael Simon as "an artist" in creating beautiful smiles. He was patient, helpful, et al. BUT veneers (made for "beautiful smiles") fell off from the very beginning, and continued to do so - a problem made more difficult once I left the area and would travel to SBD&P. When first getting the veneers - a $20,000 (twenty THOUSAND $$) investment - I specifically asked what period of time he would service his product; he told me 5 years, after which "we will see". Dr. Simon took an extended leave following a family tragedy. His #2 Dr. Andra Andrei covered, and eventually acquired the practice. My situation occurred at this very intersection: Dr. Simon had just returned (in my opinion, too soon based upon some of his judgements) and I returned a cleaning and replacement of 2 front-located veneers, performed by Dr. Andrei's staff: I was medicated (2-triazolams plus gas, and fell asleep) for a) cleaning, b) re-cementing a veneer to the top center, and b) temporary veneer center bottom they would have to create, as I'd swallowed prior one) while making up a new permanent. I did not want my "beautiful smile" to resemble Alfred E. Neumann's. I was still "out of it" when my friend came to pick me up, but with it enough to ask multiple times why there was no temporary veneer on the missing bottom tooth. The staff said, "we told your friend" - which makes no sense, since my friend was not an authorized surrogate for my personal health information. Later that week, I learned from the one dependable staff person (from the prior office) that my file was notated with the month I said I would return to South Florida - again, ridiculous, as I had no plans to return, expecting instead to plan it around SBD&P's alert regarding readiness of a permanent veneer. All of these activities were apparently decided by STAFF - not the dentist, who were not qualified to make such declarations, least of all without my input. Further, when I tried to phone Dr. Andrei, she refused to come to the phone - not once or even twice, but many times. And although it was only about 3 years since spending $20,000 on "beautiful smile" despite veneers popping off with regularity, the practice still charged me over $100 for gluing one on!!! To summarize: * The staff (techs, etc.) made decisions concerning my treatment, * While I was under sedation, * Neither informing (nor asking) me for input, and did not phone later - they just made decisions for me, and * Claimed they told my friend - an unauthorized person - about why I did not receive a temporary veneer. (Claiming I was returning too far out in the future. In reality, I had no date, planning to book a return trip based upon timing of their next procedure, as I have always done in the past.) * Dr. Andrei, now practice owner, refused to speak with her patient (me) the many times I attempted to reach her by phone, and has never phoned me; * Yet SBD&P still continues to bombard me with mailings, texts and other outreach to goad me into a next appointment. The constant failure of the "permanent cement" has struck me as the dental equivalent of "planned product obsolescence", thus providing an annuity to the dentist. In other words, permanent cement is by design not permanent, at the incremental cost of $100-$900/tooth. As I am writing this (March 2026), I have had TWO ADDITIONAL veneers pop off since that end of September 20205 visit. With my history of dental fears, anxieties and poor treatment by dentists, this does not bode well. My "beautiful smile" is now causing me terror: I do not know when my "teeth" will fall out, whether at a dinner, in a conversation, in a work or social situation .... I am mortified, it continually happens, and SBD&P has turned its back on me and its promises. Having spent $20K, Dr. Simon now claims he will only stands behind his work for two (2) years (after he told me 5). As an addendum, Dr. Simon said that the porcelain permanent veneers would "never become stained by coffee, red wine, blueberries or other foods". Please see for yourselves.

Updated Yelp Review (Final Draft)…read more I originally went to Dr. Simon's office because an implant had fallen out. When I arrived, I was told he wasn't available and that I would see another dentist in the office instead. She began the procedure, but couldn't remove the remaining part of the implant, and Dr. Simon eventually had to come in to help. They placed a temporary piece, and over the next several months I kept being told to come back in two or three months for follow-up visits. Eventually, the temporary fell out, and I was told it was due to an infection. After that, they said my tooth wouldn't be able to hold an implant after all -- even though they had already started the implant process and I had already paid for it. Dr. Simon then said I would need a bridge instead, which I ended up paying about $5,000 for. The bridge came out fine, but the whole process took almost two years, was very uncomfortable, and I often felt that I wasn't treated with much care or respect. I'm sharing this so others know to ask detailed questions before starting major dental work especially to confirm that an implant is a stable option before committing financially.
