As the president of a company that works with clients everyday, I was looking to clean up my smile and luckily, I found Dr. Sally Hamarnah and her staff at Dentology. Dr. Hamarnah and her staff helped me feel comfortable from the start. From initial intake to my first meeting, Dr. Hamarnah helped develop a plan to fix some long required issues. She had me deal with a top Periodontist to have some teeth extracted. That went very well and then she somehow worked with a lab (magic?) and had me fit with temporary teeth the next day. The cost was very fair and I felt well taken care of. The follow up from Dr. Hamarnah and her staff was excellent. The pain became so intense that I couldn't sleep. I couldn't reach the office by phone -- it always went to voicemail. I left multiple messages and never received a call back. When I came in person, I was told that the doctor no longer wanted to work with me and was simply advised to take 800 mg of ibuprofen instead of the 400 mg I had been taking. Instead of examining the issue or checking the bridge, no effort was made to identify the cause or fix the problem. Throughout the treatment, it felt rushed and primarily money-driven. My concerns were dismissed, and I felt talked down to. The cost estimates contained multiple errors. I strongly recommend double-checking all estimates. My experience was truly disappointing. Don't make the same mistake.

As a result, I had avoided going to the dentist out of fear and worry for over 7 years. I was afraid of being yelled at and afraid that my sensitivity needs would not be accomodated. I knew I was overdue for a visit, and stumbled upon Tomalty Dental Care and I couldn't be happier. From beginning to end, everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. From scheduling the appointment over the phone to arriving to the office. Everyone is positive, upbeat and understanding. I went in with firm expectations of wanting to express my needs and concerns with the doctor before being touched, and was able to do so without question. Dr. Jordan took his time to listen to me, and was willing to grant my wish of being completely numb before my mouth was touched. Within 10 minutes, Dr. Jordan had gotten father with me than any previous dentist had in over 2 hours. He was gentle, explained everything thoroughly, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable (even when giving the numbing shot, which I barely felt AT ALL!). In addition, I have Cerebral Palsy and have a service dog to help me control my muscle spasms, and she was able to stay with me the entire time I was in the chair, which was amazing! Dr. Jordan mentioned that I should have my wisdom teeth removed (which is something I have known for a long time, but have avoided). Due to his compassionate care, I am actually feeling comfortable with moving forward and getting that done within the next few months. The level of trust and comfort in this office simply cannot be beat! All in all, I can't say how thankful I am to have found Tomalty. I am feeling determined, comfortable and confident about getting back on track with my regular cleanings and annual checkups. That is saying a lot considering I used to lose sleep the night before dental appointments and avoided going at all costs. I have already recommended Tomalty to my family and I can say with confidence that I will never go anywhere else! My only wish is that I would have found them sooner! It took another 5 years for me to admit I needed them out and I decided to go to Dr Feinerman after hearing for years how great he is. 1. Hes seriously awesome. All my fears were totally squashed after meeting him. Seriously I was convinced I was going to go permanently numb and lose all feeling and taste in my mouth. That didnt happen and the milkshake I just devoured was glorious. Granted I'm still numb so spilling milkshake all over myself definitely happened. I'm not even bleeding. Which is good (see point 3). 2. He told me exactly what he was going to do and what would happen. All of his prognosis was good. Mind you I'm still numb and on painkillers but I can still Yelp like a pro, so it couldn't be that bad. He also listened to EVERYTHING I said from my concerns to where my veins were so that the IV didnt kill me. 3. I woke up and started laughing because I almost dry heaved due to the gauze. Than I couldn't stop laughing. These drugs are great. No pain and constant entertainment. I legit cant tell you what's funny, but I can tell you the experience is fun. 4. I was seriously worried about being Chip and Dale's long lost sister. NO SWELLING so far. And no excruciating pain. All of my fears were literally for no reason I should have listened to my dad (if you know him, dont tell me him I said this as he will hold it over my head for the rest of my natural life during this I told you so moment). Dr. Feinerman is awesome! Obviously, no one likes oral surgery, but he is great along with his amazing staff! Thank you!!!
