Worse driving school ever. No one calls you back. You spend 1000's of dollars and they promise you placement. They lie.

Honestly, words can't describe how grateful I am. Everyone here is friendly, supportive, and always willing to help when you ask. They really make you feel like you're not alone in the process. All of the instructors are highly professional and experienced. They genuinely want every student to pass and are willing to go the extra mile for those who may be struggling. A special shoutout to Manuel who's an excellent instructor with deep knowledge and experience. Even though I already drove manual daily, he taught me a more efficient way to downshift. He's tough, expects the best, and pushes you to improve, which is exactly what makes great drivers. I highly recommend Driving Academy to anyone looking to get their CDL. It's changed my life!

Worst driving school in New Jersey. Zero Stars…read more Before enrolling at Driving Academy, I would strongly encourage prospective students to look at Smith & Solomon, Jersey Tractor Trailer Training, Mr. Driving School, and EZ Wheels. One-on-one instruction matters, and after completing my CDL training, I believe that should be one of the first things any student looks for. My experience at Driving Academy was overwhelmingly negative. I paid $3,100 for the 28-hour CDL-A manual program and quickly realized that the business model seemed to prioritize moving large numbers of students through the yard rather than providing individualized instruction. The training environment was chaotic. Students rotated through stations, waited for opportunities to practice, and frequently relied on one another to learn material. The amount of actual hands-on instruction I received fell far short of my expectations. One of the very first things I was told was that 28 hours wouldn't be enough. If that's the case, why sell a 28-hour package to beginning students? I signed up for a manual transmission program, yet much of my practice was done in automatic trucks. The only manual transmission training offered was through a simulator with broken shifting. Road time was limited, and instruction often consisted of a brief explanation followed by being left to figure things out independently. The most frustrating part of the entire experience was the teaching style. In my opinion, many of the people responsible for instruction behaved more like supervisors overseeing a crowded yard than instructors focused on developing students. Too often, feedback came in the form of yelling after mistakes rather than teaching before mistakes occurred. An instructor's job is to teach, correct, demonstrate, explain, and build confidence. That wasn't my experience. I ultimately earned my CDL A, but I don't believe this program prepared me the way a professional training program should have. I succeeded through my own studying, additional practice, and paying more money to another school to let me use their truck at the MVC. I achieved my CDL despite this school not because of it. This review reflects my personal experience after completing the program and receiving my CDL. If I could do it all over again, I would choose a school that emphasize

This school is the worst school ever! Do not waste your time…read moreand money there. The trainer is clueless abd never got in the truck with ne to review air brakes, in cab inspections. I was told to read the book. Out of the 4 weeks I was there, I went on the road twice. The trainer will not help you and go over anything. Again they say read tge book. All the trucks have something wrong with them. Either they don't start or air brakes don't work. Like ii stated before the trainer never stepped in the truck and when we were practicing in truck , he would be non existent, not paying attention, talking to someone or his head was buried in his phone. If you ask for help , read the book is the response you will get. State of the art bull is all this school is about

Worst school ever. I sincerely warn you not to be a sucker like me and taken advantage of. This…read moreschool is the biggest scam ever. Robbed me of $3,000 which was paid for by my employer and can not be recovered because by the time you realize what you in for it will be pass the refund deadline. After initially contacting the school for pricing and information you will be kindly greeted and charmed of how great of a school they are. Secondly you will be bombarded with phone calls and emails throughout the week of how important your career change is and how Winsor is your best choice. You will also be told how much quality training you will receive and that you will have your own assigned truck to practice. What you are not told is that 40 of your paid hours will be spent in a room reading the DMV manual unsupervised, the (clueless) instructor has less than 6 months experience, the trucks are automatics, the training yard is rented to truckers flying in and out of the parking lot all day, there is an independent truck repair shop in the yard (adding to more traffic), very poor lighting after dark, old and worn down trucks, and you will be sharing the trucks with multiple students. You will learn more from a Youtube video than with these guys. A number of occasions I expressed my frustration and walked out of class. The only response I ever got were emails telling me I missed my scheduled time and it can not be made up. What ever happened to the loving, concerning attitude before they got my $3,000? Avoid these guys at all cost!!!
