A wonderful family-owned hometown drug store. Excellent customer service and great ice cream cones.

A kindergartener could arrange the shelf better in order to be efficient and make space but most of the time this location just turns you away. Shameful of FedEx Corporate to let this location continue to operate. They do not serve customers whatsoever.

My hope is that no customer should ever be treated in such a manner. Ever. When my son sophomore at the University of Mississippi broke his hand and required immediate surgery I took off time from my job as a teacher in the Baltimore County schools and booked the soonest flight. An expense which is huge burden for our family. He was in tremendous pain and required immediate medications. The lines were long, which I understood, I handed in his prescriptions. I returned back 90 minutes later after and waited on yet another line and was told " I sat down in the pharmacy area and called Cigna, thankfully the insurance representative was kind, helpful and patient. Cigna saw on their end that the mistake and long delay was indeed with the pharmacy since they were entering MY name and not my son's. Mistakes happen. I understand that. But the attitude from and then the pharmacist was unjust and extremely unprofessional. She purposely made me wait on the line again, and then again. Each time I was confronted with eye rolls and words I wish not to repeat. I am writing this in my hope that no one. . . EVER. . . is laughed at, ridiculed and embarrassed. I was simply seeking essential medical care for my son. I am advocating not only for myself, but for all Walgreen's customers who may face similar treatment at this location in the future. I hope they never have to endure what I did today. It is a terrible reflection on your company. I would appreciate a response.

Pulaski is home…read moreof the world renowned Sun Drop Festival, and also home to other unsavory happenings back in the 1800s, but we're beyond that I'm hoping. The happenings on this day were of a more civil nature and consisted of a number of fair vendors setting up shop around the historic town square. Reeves Drugstore is housed in a string of old brick buildings that also line the square. Its charm is old school from the get-go. When I opened their front door and stepped in, it was like stepping back into my childhood. Immediately, I thought, dang, we had one of these in our downtown. In fact, three! Newberrys, Thrifty, and Woolworth. All had lunch counters, and all served up tasty food offerings just like Reeves. Reeves also has an ice cream counter. $1.75 for a scoop! If you're lucky, you'll get the young lady who scooped up ours. She packs it into the base of the cone before putting a generous scoop on top. My Butter Pecan cone was solid. There were plenty of pecans mixed in. Some in every bite. We didn't need any drugs on this visit. We were pretty high from the Sun Drop soda, Sun Drop cake, freeze-dried gummy bears, and of course, ice cream. But if you're in need of some kind of pill, tincture, or sundry, you'll be in good hands at Reeves. Quick Tip: The folks who work at Reeves are honest, hard-working townspeople. Polite as can be. If you're in need of some sincere southern hospitality, they'll give it by the bushel. Please give them your business, and reward them with a smile.
