Dr. White and her office DEFINITELY impressed us. If you want a vet that prioritizes the health of your animal over profit, then this place is a rare find! We were in town for the Christkindmarkt in Cullman from out of state, with our 2 dogs.. one of which has terminal Lymphoma cancer.. (in remission) and I had forgotten his liver supplement (sort of like a vitamin to help protect his liver). I called multiple other vets in town asking if I could possibly purchase just 2 of these tablets. Other vets said the dog must be seen by a vet first. Needed an appointment and needed to pay for an exam. For what?? It's a vitamin. I can buy it on Amazon. In what way would it even be helpful to look at my dog? How would that tell you anything about his lengthy cancer treatment or the need for a liver supplement?? Would you need full blood work also to help determine if he needed the 2 liver supplement pills??? He probably would have been fine without it but we were 4 hours from home, and I was a bit panicked for my best little buddy and wanted to try to get his supplement for him, if at all possible. Thankfully, when I finally called Smith Lake and explained my situation, Dr. White simply checked to see how many she had on hand that she could spare and sold me a sheet of 10. She was very kind, super professional, and super knowledgeable. I was so incredibly appreciative. The office was insanely clean, well organized and all the staff were super friendly and caring. If I lived anywhere within 50 miles of this place, it would definitely be my vet!!! read more
