With the Pandemic and we're practicing social distancing and now staying home I have used grocery deliveries and I have to give Smiths 5 stars for their great delivery service. Smiths works with a third party and they actually text you the name of your personal shopper and while this shopper is shopping for your list of items actually lets you know what they are replacing and what is out of stock and exactly when they're on their way to your home and text when they're at your home! I tipped a $20 because the young girl that delivered did such an amazing job and they're putting their health at risk serving our needs! I can't say that about my delivery from Vons! That was a big mess and I'm still trying to get a refund for the frozen items that I was charged but did not receive! Thank you Smiths! read more

This is the store I go to the most. I was impressed with the vegetarian and vegan section. Also in the vegetable area there's always good stuff on sale on the $.99 rack. Sometimes I get organic tomatoes for $.99 for a bag of 10. Sometimes I get avocados for $.99 for a bag of four. Always lots of deals. read more

I did some grocery shopping here when I was on vacation. It is off the Strip so you will need a car to get to this place if you're staying on the Strip. For me, I was staying at Tahiti Village and they offered a shuttle bus to this Smith's three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, & Friday) in the morning. As grocery stores go, this grocery store was fine. It is large and well stocked. The only thing I found was that certain items that I grabbed were sticky (for example, I grabbed a bottle of Ocean's Spray Cranberry Cocktail and it was sticky as was a container of Pringles that I grabbed). They have items on special for people with the Smith's card but being a tourist to Las Vegas, I obviously didn't have a Smith's card but this didn't present any issues since when I paid for the items in the self-checkout machine, the worker asked me if I had a card and when I indicated that I didn't, he passed his card on the machine. I believe this gave him points for my purchase and gave me the lower price on some of my items. I didn't have any issues with any of the workers and I found them helpful. For example, I was looking for the Ocean's Spray Cranberry Cocktail and I couldn't find it. One of the store clerks saw that I was having issues and asked me what I was looking for and I mentioned juices. She then told me that the organic juices were on one side of the store whereas the other juices/drinks were at the other end of the store. I can't really comment on the prices since I'm a tourist both to Las Vegas (and to the US) but I found the prices to be fair (and of course a lot less expensive than similar items being sold on the Strip). The receipt is a bit confusing to read as it shows some discounts for products and price changes for items. For example, when there is one price for one item but when purchasing more than one item there is a different price, the receipt will show the original price for one item and then as you pass the other items through the scanner, it will then discount the items so that you actually get the final price. read more

I have been shopping at this Smith's since moving to the area. The layout and selection are great. They still have the separate organic section which I really like. The only place they are lacking is in the butcher shop. Their selection of fresh fish and meat variety is less impressive than other stores. Their prices are great, and the staff at this location has always been helpful and attentive. read more

The deli leaves a lot to be desired. The don't follow a number system. The system is in place, they just don't follow it. Instead they just have people milling about trying to get service. This is be far my favorite Smith's in town. The selection is vast, staff friendly, and aisles wide. They have a great sushi station we're sushi is prepared fresh every day. Their fish selection is better than any other Smiths in the area and their selection of specialty meats and cheeses are large and very neatly displayed. read more

I'm not the sort of person who would normally review a grocery store, but the staff here is so friendly and the shopping experience is so nice, that I absolutely had to let everyone know. From the butcher, who always gives me little samples when I'm ordering and asks about my day, to the deli person who gave me free tastes of all the soups so I could find out which ones I liked, to the store manager who always make sure to give me rain checks when they're out of items that I like on sale, everyone here does their absolute best to make every customer feel 100% satisfied. Not to mention, the store is clean, brightly lit, and has a good selection of most products. I only have two complaints about the store. First, I love their items form the bakery, especially the jumbo cupcakes, but anything that is brightly colored tends to come out tasting like food dye. For example, the cupcakes for Valentine's Day were bright pink and the frosting tasted of nothing but chemical food dye as a result. So if you're ordering from the bakery, stick to chocolate frosting or plain white frosting. My other complaint is that I don't like the parking lot. There's often trash on the ground, runaway carts, and homeless people begging. I do my best to park as close to the door as possible and dash in and out of the store. read more

Last week I was in a bind when I needed to source 93/95 heads of Organic Romaine lettuce. After traveling to 6 grocery stores, I met a lovely employee in the produce department at this Smith's on Windmill & Las Vegas Blvd named Adolfo. Adolfo offered to check his back of house for me and returned with 31 heads of Organic Romaine Lettuce! He also provided me with his business card so that we can stay in touch if I ever need to source bulk orders of produce in the future and he added the days that his shop places produce orders so that I never run into hiccups again. Adolfo is A+ in my book, and I will continue to source my Organic needs from this Smith's location! read more

I just came home from Smith's and am very upset at the lady in the deli. Her name is Deborah and I had asked for the chicken family meal. She then asked if I knew what sides I wanted and I told her what I wanted. She then proceeded to roll her eyes and cuss under her breathe as though I had inconvenienced her in some way. She was rude and when handed me my food she flipped it over the counter and just said " here". I'm sorry if I needed to feed my family a quick lunch but she didn't need to be so rude about it. We always go to this location cause it's right by our house. I think if I want deli food I'll go to the one on rainbow cause they are a lot friendlier there. That's the other location I like cause it's by my work. If you need deli food make sure it's not Deborah who takes your order cause she is not friendly at all. read more

This is my go to spot for specialty cheeses by my place. Being an absolute cheese fan, I was actively looking for a place offering specialty/imported cheeses in Las Vegas and I was delighted to learn that Smith's carries quite a few options so close to my place. This store is easy to get to, right by 15 and on Las Vegas Boulevard. Parking has never been an issue even though I went there many times at many different times of the day. The store is otherwise rather small so it might not be carrying everything you could expect, but this is definitely a decent option for cheese. Thought I would come back in & give this dumpy store another chance since they are so close to my home. Forget the store is dirty and you need to wear rubber gloves to pick up anything or use the carts. From sodas to canned goods to meat...everything is sticky. WATCH YOUR RECEIPT. Something we all take for granted. This cashier charged me for 2 items I didn't have in my cart OR come home with. Kroger branded items I don't buy or use. Either she thought I'd pay for HER stuff or she started a transaction & failed to void it before she rang me up...I don't know. I was disappointed at first when they replaced Food4Less but it has become one of my favorite grocery stores. The deli is phenomenal with a great selection of cheeses and Boars Head meats. There is a good selection of baked goods. The layout is difficult for me because I can't easily get from produce to dairy and I have not been able to talk to the butcher or seafood staff. And I can't get delivery even though I'm less than 1 mile away :-( read more

Incredibly rude deli service workers. I understand that it's Thanksgiving and they want to get home but both women there were angry because I asked if I could get a cake from their counter. They both yelled at me that the store closed at 4. Well it wasn't even 3 yet. They then told me that there was a large sign at the front of the store and that I should have seen it. I said I wasn't from here and I didn't know. One of them proceeded to tell me "well it's a really large sign by the door, so I don't know why you missed it." I like this place. Great selection of the things I want. The store is clean and well maintained. Too bad the staff is terrible. The cashier woman didn't even offer as much as a "hello" or asked if I had my smiths card or phone number. She did however ask my female Caucasian friend if she had her card and even had a pleasant short conversation with her. My friend who was with me and we even shared the same cart had a much better experience than I did. She didn't have a smiths card and was still given the club price. Wut? I have been in Vegas many times and have been to many Smith's grocery's and this was by far the most disappointing. This store had tons of missing items, none of the staff knows where the products are. Looked for BBQ sauce for 15 mins and no one would help me find it. Customer service here is reliably good. The selection is good. Store is big. The clientele is questionable to say the least. Ill go back. But I keep my head up and don't pay much attention to other folks. Nighttime is more when this is an issue. During the day its fine. I had an item that I wanted to buy and was told that the item was sold when I returned a month Later the item was still there told to come back in two weeks which I did and the item was still there and was told to return in the morning so when I returned in the AM the item was gone and I'm getting the run around I just think that it's real shitty to give a loyal customer who spends hundreds of dollars a lie I'm loyal by returning every month and spending my $ I wouldn't even have took the effort to write this review but the item is a once a year item that is $99 and discounted at the end of the year for $37 and the item was the last one in the city and I had driven around all over town and found this one to be lied to it's just shady I won't be spending my hundred of dollars there and will be contacting corporate I'm sure they want to know where a $99 item disappears to read more

This used to be a Food 4 Less, which was filthy and I wouldn't shop at. Since the conversion to Smith's it's really clean and you can find the normal things at a grocery store with average to above average prices. It does have a great location. I come to Smith's specifically and only for their fresh baked bread which is really good! In fact safe to say my favorite bread. I only buy bread here as part of a personal 20+ year boycott of Smith's. I worked at Smith's Corp and back then the regional meat manager had me re-freeze thawed turkeys. It is a dangerous practice to re-freeze thawed meats of any kind. We argued, and I took it to his boss, then his bosses bosses boss, all the way to the top and the response I got?? Oh well it's ok no one is gonna die. So, I quit and refused to shop at a Smith's again. Now I'm sure those people are all log since gone and they probably don't practice the same dangerous meat care, but, I only buy the fresh baked bread and only that here. read more

Love this Smith's. They have an awesome selection of wine, booze, breads, and cheeses. The olive bar and has a huge selection of different olives and Mediterranean style foods. Produce section is huge and everything is always fresh. The people working here are helpful and friendly. Prices are cheaper than Von's or Albertson's too. There's so many supermarkets in the area but this one is by far the best I've found so far. read more

However I am highly disappointed with the employee who tried to tell they only offered a small container of gourmet Ricotta cheese in the cheese selection when I asked where I could find some and if there was a bigger size. I'm sure it was only a coincidence that he tried to tell me they only had smaller containers than the small container of $10 cheese instead of directing me to the isle that had exactly what I was looking for on sale in a much larger size. We recently moved here and have tried both Smith's and Von's, Von's is winning. Why when you know you have a problem with your carts do you not have them fixed? Every time I am here people are struggling with the carts. Today as usual the store is understaffed with no one available to bag. This store needs attention or many sales will be lost. read more

I really missed Vegas but my usual hotel is not open so I stayed a buddy's place over Labor Day weekend. Turned out really fun and in these crazy COVID times I wanted to do something nice for my friends since I was at their place. So I went to closest Smith's which I haven't been in for awhile so get a few things for them. The staff were all really nice! Buyer beware. I ordered food with the pick-up date of 04/13/2020, 6-7pm. When I got home I discovered I only received one baguette loaf but was charged for the two ordered. I drove back to smith's and called the number on the sign. The woman said she would deduct the $2 I was charged for the item I didn't receive. I was a fool and believed her. Count all your items before leaving this store because they are not as accurate as they should be. As a woman living on disability I am glad it was only a $2 loss. read more

Watch out late night shoppers! This place can be super sketch with lots of suspicious characters looming around every isle. They do have a nice deli with a lot of options for meats and cheeses. Some cold cuts are the guys favorite and the meats from smiths are good. The location here is great since it's right on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and windmill. But getting there can be tuff from Las Vegas Blvd depending on which way your coming from. Also try the gelenti gelato - super good. The meats at the smiths in southern Nevada are the best meats around like the steaks and chickens. I've tried the other supermarkets in las vegas and their meats are either not as fresh or not as good quality of cuts because smiths steaks like ribeye and new York are amazingly great.
