Excellence of service and quality, This beer bar that has a variety of activities served up, is a great meet up location. After 30 or so visits in the last couple of years, its consistent high standards are appreciated. There is an extensive selection of tap items along with a variety of things you can take home. Highly recommend this gem of West Torrance.

Such a great local business and resource! So fun to sit with friends. Play games. Listen to live music. Hear comedy. The list goes on. And the bartenders are fire. A great time!

Fun atmosphere and great beer - went for the chili potluck and had a good time. Friendly service as well.

BEST TRIVIA SPOT!!! But seriously, our daughter has spent two birthdays at Smog City West for their trivia nights. She doesn't know any other way. Sam is the best beertender ever, and knows exactly what you want. They don't have food, but you can bring your own. Brittany is the best trivia host!! (Insert high fives). Board games? They've got em. Chalkboard hallway and chalk to draw? You betcha. Simpsons arcade game? D'oh! Yup! Oh, and don't forget about the free books outside next door at the tutoring place to go peruse in between rounds. Thanks for all the good times, Smog City!!

A medium size brewery with some food trucks and outdoor seating. It gets pretty packed so securing a table can be a bit hard sometimes. Depending on amount of people, it can take a bit of time to get a drink based on their current set up and staffing. The beer is pretty good and they have a good selection of sours. They also had an anniversary party a few weeks ago so they have some unique selections. They aren't doing full flights right now, but you can get two small pours if you want to sample.

I really like this brewery! We spontaneously decided to find a local brewery to have a quick beer, and this one showed up on Yelp. It doesn't look like anything from the outside, but insiste it's quaint and interesting. Love the light fixtures and the wallpaper they have. Since this was our first time here, we asked the bartender for their recommendations - we got the Little Bo, Sabre toothed squirrel and the mango Pango - all of them were really good. They offer 3 different sizes, 4oz, 8 oz, & full sized. All of their beers are very reasonably priced!

Great place to enjoy Craft Beers in this cute place to chill out while having some of the best brews in the South Bay. Bring an LP on Sundays and they'll play it for everyone to enjoy.

Nice, cozy environment and a wide selection of beers. This one is definitely more my vibe than the original location. The From LA Wit Love was great.

I'm a lightweight, so I sampled three beers and tasted two that my friends had. I started with the coffee porter, which was strong and smooth with a back taste of coffee. Then I tried the Good Night Moon, a stout. Also smooth and tasty. Third was the Bourbon Barrel O.E. very different and will kick your butt at 14%. I'm not saying that it is an acquired taste, but it doesn't taste like beer. I tasted the Nothing 2022. A little heavy duty for me. I suggest a good steak to go with it. The New Normal is a great drinking beer. Light, not hoppy and a good balance. I have to admit, we brought yakitori in. They don't serve food. It helped to offset the alcohol. They had a bagpiper and a Celtic Pirate Band which made it a semi raucous evening.

Flight of beer. They have preset ones but we chose our own.

We stumbled upon this place after a meal next door. The guy working was super helpful in explaining all the beers they have and he was just awesome to talk to. I feel like this could be one of those regualr places you come to for a beer without too much noise. We got a flight of different beers to try and they were really good. The coffee one is sooooo good, we took a 4 pack home.

Absolutely the best beers in town - so flavorful, fresh and delicious! I love the events they have here and the sense of camaraderie among the crowd. Fun place to stop after work or on a day off. Highly recommend! So glad I found it.

Me and my boyfriend came to this Smog City in Torrance California because my boyfriend is a huge fan of Different beers and going to Adventurous breweries together. I might not like beer as much as him but I try them to make him happy. Coming here to Torrance was nice and it was busy but the staff was very friendly. And one employee remembered me from (my first visit in Long Beach Smog City ). I'm sad I never got her name. But I like her. That she remembers me. She made my day. But other then that. Everything was good and tasty. It sucks that they only had pizza to choose pizza as food item. But it's fine. I finally got my sabre Tooth Squirrel pin and Glass cup & my boyfriend got a shirt. We're all happy from our experience. Were definitely coming back.

It feels like the staff is more concerned with getting out exactly at closing time than making guests feel welcomed and valued. Our last visit on 06/25/2026 was, by far, the worst experience we've ever had here. We were celebrating my stepdaughter's birthday with a large group. As closing time approached, one of our family members still had a nearly full beer. Without any warning or politely letting us know it was time to finish up, a tall white male employee (who refused to provide his name when asked) simply walked up and took the beer off the table. What made it even more frustrating was that there were other tables around us with guests who also had drinks, yet our party was the only one singled out. To make matters worse, we had brought a birthday cake to celebrate. We politely asked another short female employee for a few plastic plates and utensils so we could cut the cake before leaving. We were told no because they were closing. This has never been an issue during our previous birthday celebrations here. These were disposable plastic plates and utensils that would have gone straight into the trash, so refusing such a simple request came across as pure unwillingness to provide basic customer service. I spent 10 years working in the food and hospitality industry before starting my current career, so I understand exactly what closing a restaurant or brewery entails. I know employees want to leave on time, but I also know that providing good customer service until the last guest leaves is part of the job. If customers need to wrap things up, there is a respectful way to communicate that. You don't take someone's drink without warning, and you don't refuse a simple request that would have taken less than a minute. Everyone in our party left upset and disappointed. It was honestly embarrassing to watch employees treat loyal customers this way. This brewery used to be our go-to place for birthdays, but after this experience, we will not be returning. I rarely write negative reviews because I understand everyone has bad days. However, this experience was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses the lack of hospitality and provides better customer service training, because the employees working that evening did not represent the level of service that keeps loyal customers coming back. Both the female worker with tattoos and piercings and the tall male were extremely rude when confronted. If you choose to visit, just be aware that if you're there close to closing time, your experience may depend more on how quickly the staff wants to leave than on making you feel like a valued guest.
