Here's why: first, the store is immaculate. Super clean and very well-organized. I've seen hospitals dirtier than this place! Perfect lighting, labels, just a very clean store. The three employees I talked to, even though they were delivering bad news, seemed generally interested and understanding about my frustration. They even offered some helpful advice, assuming I could find what I needed. I mean, they didn't get my business, but with the way they treated me I wouldn't be opposed to going there in the future. That's great customer service. One thing though: the parking is a bit irritating with the placement between 2 very narrow drive-thru areas. A Korean vet, symbolic things like having the flags in the right place at the cemetery on holidays really mattered to him. And so it was that it was time for me to order my very first memorial wreath for the man I looked up to all those years. Recommended to The Open Window by a local friend (I live in California), I spoke to Audra and she guided me through the entire order. The wreath came out beautifully, and was so perfectly arranged, as if I had chosen the flowers myself. Living so far away, sometimes life can be tough on moments like this. But I highly recommend The Open Window to take care of you as they will take care of you well. Oh, and both Audra (and Leisa the owner) texted me photos of the wreath as it was completed in the shop for my approval. And again when they laid it at my Father's VA marker (mounted at the cemetery just that day.) Very grateful. I will ring them next year, I'm sure.
