The restaurant is clean and spacious, perfect for large groups, we were 10 people. The staff were nice and friendly, though the service took over 20 minutes so we were really hungry by the time the food came. We ordered liempo baboy, liempo manok, fish sinigang, pork sweet and sour, grilled bangus, chopsuey, and rice. My favorites were the liempo baboy and liempo manok, the pork was tender and juicy with a crispy outside, and the chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The sinigang was tasty, and while the bangus was good, I wished it was a little crispier. The pork sweet and sour had a nice flavor but didn't have much meat compared to the sauce. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Ramboy's, but if you're dining with a big group, expect to wait a bit for your food.

Ramboy's is a popular lechonan/barbeque joint near Caticlan Airport. Here you can get everything…read moreyou can typically get from a well-stocked barbeque place - crispy pata, lechon manok, liempo, grilled calamari, boneless bangus, tuna belly, and so on. In addition, you can get non-BBQ Filipino favorites - kare-kare, kinilaw and lumpiang shanghai, just to name a few. Our guide took us there when we arrived mid-afternoon from Manila; it proved to be a good choice. A takeout order of rice and newly barbequed liempo and lechon manok served all seven of us. Prices were fairly reasonable - 210 pesos for a whole roasted chicken, 300 peso for a kilogram of roast pork. The roasting pit is continually turning out food because the place is popular even post-lunch, said our guide. If you are on your way to Boracay Island and are feeling a bit hungry, grab something to go here before getting on the ferry.

We went to architecture school over 40 years ago. It amazing that we still see each other every few years. We ordered dinner and drinks & caught up with each other & made plans for the next few days. Bangus sisig (Effin awesome) I think this must be the Filipino national fish. I ate Bangus probably about 6-8x's for breakfast lunch & dinner. Lechon - Suckling Pig w/onion, garlic Cangkong w/garlic fresh from the sea Beef marrow bone soup rich delicious soup It's always fun seeing these guys & their wives. The only unfortunate part is our 4th buddy couldn't make the reunion, still it was a great time in a nice restaurant open to the beach and ocean. We had a guitarist playing & singing a very nice collection of very relaxing music According to my buddy Boracay Beach was rated the no 1 Beach in Asia. *** 9/5/22 update For the two weeks we have been in Boracay,…read morewe have been here 15+ times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!! Love the food, the people, and vibe! First review: This is one of our favorite places to go on Boracay, if you're in the Bulabog Beach area. It's super chill and relaxing right on the beach. We've been here 3 times already in the past 2 days, so that says something. There are a variety of seating options, at the bar, low top, high top, and even right off the side walk if you want to people watch. The food is good and for a reasonable price. Staff are very warm and welcoming, even getting tips on scuba diving. We went there for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I had the Filipina Cornsilog for breakfast - corned beef, two sunny side eggs, and garlic rice. Not my usual breakfast, but it was good and it came with a side fruit and pressed coffee (tea or juice options as well). I was looking forward to the Tapsilog, but they ran out. My bf had the frittata and he thoroughly enjoyed it. As for lunch, I had ordered the spicy garlic shrimp and a grilled chicken sandwich for the man. One point with the shrimp and it was finger lick'n good! It came with seven shrimp and it was enough as an appetizer. The sandwich was devour in record time! He loved it and already said he's going to get it again tomorrow. And for dinner, I had the pork liempo (pork belly) soy-infused served with rice. My bf enjoyed a grilled vegetable sandwich just as much as the grilled chicken. We'll be coming back for sure!

Cute tiki themed decor and super friendly staff! Great drinks (try the calamansi caipirinha). Kenneth was our waiter twice and he gave us some great restaurant recommendations for breakfast. This is a definite must try if you're staying at the Ventosso residences. I will definitely be back!
