A young lady was checking quality at every table and cleaning tables when people leave. The music in the store is contemporary Christian. Some observations I made during our last couple of stops at locations during our trips: The portions of the sides are now much smaller. The corn bread is smaller and the biscuits are also smaller and not as lite and flavorful as before. The service is OK, but there is no attention to checking on the meals after served and no offers to bring a drink refill or more biscuits. We may start looking for other places to stop.

My father-in-law is a phenomenal "grill master" and makes some of the best hand formed hamburgers I have ever eaten. However, this year, while shopping at Wal-Mart, he picked up a box of frozen Flanders Quarter Pound Beef patties and decided to give them a try. I knew that there was no way they were going to be as good as the home made burgers he normally makes, but these were even less impressive than I had imagined. The top 4 ingredients in these pre-formed patties are: 1. Beef 2. Water 3. Beef Hearts 4. Textured Soy Flour My first impression was how these burgers did not feature the textured bits of meat that you find in a hand formed patty. When I took a bite, the interior of the burger was very smooth an un-textured; no doubt contributable to the ground up beef hearts, water and textured soy flour. And speaking of textured soy flour, this overpowering ingredient impaired a very mealy/grainy texture and taste that was less than appealing. I know that in today's busy world, there are occasions when there isn't time to make hand formed beef patties. Or more importantly, you may be feeding a lot of people and you are on a budget. However, I think there may be better frozen beef patty options out there. (However, I will not be trying any other frozen beef patties). In my opinion, this patty would be appropriate for a school fair or similar venue. They would also probably be ok for charity groups to use in such venues as a soup kitchen or shelter where budgets are tightly controlled. This burger was not horrible, but it wasn't very appealing either. As for me, I'm sticking to buying my ground beef fresh and forming my own patties.

I tried your Beef Burgers last week and I have got to say I have NEVER had any thing so bad in my life. I got sick before I finished my 2nd burger. The date on them is good till 2019. Not sure what the problem is but the last 14 in the box is going to be garbage. If they made me sick I will not pass them on to anyone. I just felt you needed to know this. Not sure if it's just that one box but makes leery to try any more of your products. I do hope all your others are better than what I had. Telling you so maybe you can fix whatever is wrong to help you not lose any more customers. Wishing you much luck with all your future endeavors. Hate that I am not any longer on your band wagon.
