Surprised that no one's reviewed their restaurant, since it's been around for eons. Anyway, a great…read moreplace to go for breakfast and/or lunch, especially if you work downtown. It has an old-school diner feel similar to Pitt Grill, but smaller (since it's connected to a drug store and all). The breakfast food is fantastic, especially the egg, ham and cheese sandwich, hash browns, grits and bacon. The lunch menu includes things like meat loaf, red beans and rice and chicken fried steak. They also have special items every day of the week. Everything is made right in front of you--sort of like a down home Subway--so you know it's freshly cooked. They also take orders over the phone. The staff is pretty friendly as well.
