We just waited 1.25 hours for a 24 smoothies. And it was 12 of one kind and 12 of another. So it wasn't like it was a bunch of different orders. There is simply no reason for it to take that long. We also overheard the lady signing off tell the two men remaining that if any walk-ins came in, they should stop our order so the walk-ins didn't have to wait. I typically go to the Rangeline Rd. location and service, taste, quality, etc. is PHENOMENAL!!! But I was in the area and stopped at the 146th st. location a few weeks ago. The entire shop smelled of cigarette and vape smoke. There were two people ahead of me and I was happy to wait, but the staff were very dismissive and said their blenders did not even work, and there's a mouse problem, so I should go somewhere else. One of the staff even had her child just sitting on one of the couches with her feet on the furniture. Very unclean. I ended up waiting for my smoothie and the staff were swearing and using foul language, and talking about how they cannot wait to leave. I chalked it up to a one-time experience, so a couple days ago I went again. Lo and behold, the staff were swearing again, one was vaping IN the store and exhaling smoke into all of the smoothie ingredients. It seems like just teenagers work here except for a few irresponsible adults, and one person is running around with the drive-through walkie talkie and no one else is doing anything while the adult men who seem to be in charge are just talking on their phones via earpod headphones. NEVER go to this location. It is uncleanly and slovenly, and a sorry excuse for a Smoothie King, let alone a business. It should be called Smoothie Jester because it is the McDonald's of the drink world--actually, that is an insult to the golden arches! And there are mice too! I saw a rodent by the trash receptacle. This place used to have some issues, but it seems like they have a new manager and a great team of workers, and it's much better now! I decided to go to another location after having a bad experience at the Rangeline Rd, location. My first experience there was mixed... my drink was good but the Blueberry Heaven my wife wanted was sub-par... they said they couldn't find the recipe and winged it. It was much too sweet so my wife didn't drink it. Then recently I went back. Again, my drink was good...a peanut power plus chocolate... The blueberry heaven, she said, tasted funny, like it had peanut butter in it. Sure enough, it was a strong mixture of my drink mixed with hers. She couldn't drink it, and who could blame her? It was horrible. I had seen the guys making the drinks use the same blender container, but I assumed he had cleaned it first. What is it about mature employees that would make it ok to do something like that. Maybe he was lazy or maybe he thought it was funny. Either way... I think I'm done with Smoothie King... I hate to write a negative review on any place, however my experience today at smoothie king 146th street left me with no option but to speak up. I went to try the Açaí bowl that were just added to the menu and while i was ordering from the drive thru I knew that the lady was having attitude. I didn't bother at the beginning and ordered. When i went to the window to pay and wanted to double check my order, a young lady with brown hair and glasses literally rolled her eyes at me and closed the window. Not only this but she went on by looking at me and laugh with other people working with her. Great location in a plaza and it's right beside LA fitness so can go for a treat or recovery drink after workout. I got the chocolate peanut power plus. This is a great location! It's larger and has a nice seating area. It's also super speedy and my smoothies have been perfect. I wish I was closer to this one, but if I have time will be coming here as much as I can! I find the app helpful. You can look over the menu and decide before you get to the register. I have a few favorites, but like to look over the options before I make a final decision. Pineapple Surf is my favorite and I like you can tell them skinny on the smoothies for less calories and sugar. There are a ton of options to add to your smoothie. The app can help you figure out what you want to add. You also earn points and rewards and they send you offers by text as well if you opt in. read more

They have a good number of flavors and types so it's not restricting you from having to pick from just 1 or 2 flavors. No, no, no- you have several different kinds and most of the time, they hit. The real reason I am taking a point off is because they don't necessarily have the most freedom when it comes to delivering smoothies. Although you can do DoorDash, well that's kinda expensive. It's a lot more convenient if you go get it yourself so you're not spending any extra money. Another thing I love about Smoothie King is that the workers are typically always friendly. I've like never had a poor experience anytime I've gone and believe me I do go some. In addition to the various flavors and the friendly and hardworking staff, they also sometimes allow you to get a sample of the smoothie so you know what you're getting yourself into. Overall Smoothie King is an amazing place If you're to lazy to make a smoothie at home and believe me when I say the smoothies are definitely worth purchasing. read more

The only bone I have to pick with this location is that they didn't have any water cups and were gonna make us buy a cup for a glass of water after we had just spent almost $20 dollars on 2 smoothies. This is my first review Im writing ever, which I feel is necessary to write because of the way I was treated. As an avid customer of smoothie king, today I had probably my worst experience. I get the same smoothie every time after my workout, a medium, 32oz as recommended and suggested always by the person taking my order every time I go through the drive thru. So, I gave the girl (dark hair and glasses when I got to the window) my order and she asked if I was doing a medium, to which I said yes. I get to the window to use my app and I can tell shes already in a mood, as when I asked if she can check if I have a free drink on her end after she scans my barcode, she says in a condescending tone that I have to do it on my end. So, I just told her okay thats fine Ill check another time and she said it was $7 and some change, typically what I pay for a medium. She then hands me a small smoothie to which I told her I ordered a medium and she argues with me that she said it was a 20z, which, is outrageous to pay $7 for a small and because I come here often, I know its not $7+ for a small. She then tells me shell just do it for me "this time" and quickly (Im assuming) dumps my small into a medium cup because that's how cup sizes work at fast food and drink places, then hands it to me and doesn't say anything, shutting the window. Im fairly laid back, I dont like to complain and I get that people can have bad days, I also typically have a soft spot for those who work in the food and service industry because Im a server myself, but she was just downright rude. read more

Came here on their grand opening day and enjoyed the experience. I took advantage of the text offer to get a free 32 oz smoothie. I wanted a strawberry smoothie and the server recommended the Pure Recharge strawberry- it had something that added energy. Some component of this had a very bitter taste though. Definitely not for me. I asked the manager what caused that taste and he was extremely nice and offered to get me something different. I ended up getting something with only strawberries- I can't remember the name but it was much better. The staff was very nice and quick service. This location is at a good location right infront of LA fitness- they have a lot of smoothie options that are designed for post workouts and other options as well if just wanting a meal replacement or snack. In general, I think their smoothies are a little expensive when I'm thinking about the price I would pay for breakfast/ lunch but definitely healthier. I like the variety of menu options and I will be back to try other items. read more

Have been to this Smoothie King three times, every time have got the Banana Boat with peanut butter. First time couldn't taste the peanut butter. Second time, complained about the first, asked to kindly provide enough peanut butter. Drink tasted the same as the first, couldn't even taste the peanut butter. Third time told them I wanted more peanut butter. I was given explanation that Smoothie King has a process and peanut butter is weighed, every night. Giving me extra peanut butter would disrupt the food costs for the day. I can buy 4 lbs of peanut butter at Sams for 8$. I am asking for a couple extra tablespoons. My drink cost 8$. Why can't I have the drink how I want it? Is a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter worth losing a customer and getting a negative review on Yelp? Won't be back. read more

Location is new and clean. It is obviously owned by someone that never visits the location and is counting on low paid staff to make them rich selling glorified slushies for $10 each. They give priority to the drive thru. They made one of my kids drinks then made 3 peoples that walked in after us drink while my 5 year old watched his sister drink hers. Not good.
