Every Saturday, I'd pull up to the drive-through, hand over my punch card (11th shake free!), and order the large chocolate peanut butter shake. The price was a little over $5 at the time. It tasted like a Reese's Cup. In less than two minutes, I'd have the shake in hand, ready to conquer the day! Don't be intimidated or discouraged by the body-builder employees or patrons. I started going to Planet Nutrition because I was an emaciated high school cross-country runner. The owner made me a complimentary blueberry cheesecake shake, and gave me a thorough nutrition consultation to help me gain some lean weight. All of the employees I encountered were friendly and efficient at making shakes. To compare, I tried a shake at Captain Nutrition down the road, but it just wasn't as awesome. Fortunately for those of you in Laffy Taffy, now there is a Planet Nutrition website, which lists the dozens of smoothie flavors and nutritional values (perfect for all you body-builders getting ready for competition)! And apparently they've opened two more stores - an additional one in Lafayette, and another in Lake Charles. Next time I'm in town, I will be reuniting with a large chocolate peanut butter shake.

Yes, they grill your tortilla so it's nice and warm and best of all, stays together when you bite it. It's not slapped together like some wraps are. Nothing worse than biting into your wrap and all the ingredients immediately fall out and you have to either try to reassemble it or eat it with a fork. A wrap is supposed to be eaten by hand, people. Thank you TSC for getting it. So my favorite wrap to date is the Southwest. It happens to be a breakfast one but they do serve it all day. It's got eggs, grilled chicken, peeper jack cheese, tomatoes, spinach and chipotle mayo. The flavor combination is insanely good and I buy it over and over again. It's become my new fave but the All American is really good too (eggs, ham, bacon, cheddar, mozzarella). In addition to the wraps they serve flatbread creations, bowls, sandwiches and of course, smoothies. Oh, they also have a small kids menu. As for the smoothies, try the Acai Berry Boost. It has acai juice, pomegranate, banana, blueberries and strawberries. Refreshing and delicious!

They also put chicken on the cheese quesadilla after being specifically told no chicken (we are vegetarian) . No napkins, no cutlary, nothing but a bad attitude. so disappointing.
