This Smoothie King is a disappointing waste. Myself and several other potential customers were lined up in the drive through at 8:40pm and the 4-5 workers there refused to take our orders or even acknowledge us. The back door is close to the drive through and was wide open showing some of them running around the front of the store while other were in the back peeling bananas...with no gloves? After saying, "excuse me and hello" several times with zero acknowledgment I honked my horn. Finally a young woman with braids came to the back door and said they were closed. When I questioned her about them closing at 9 and it still being 8:45, rather than responding she smirked at me and closed the door. This is not the first time I've received poor service from this location but it's close to my place of business so if I'm not in the mood to drive far I'll take my chances. They tend to hire young people with little respect for the patrons and clearly give zero cares about their job. This was my last time taking a chance on them. I'd rather pay more for less but higher quality at Arden's Garden a little ways down the road or drive the extra distance to the Smoothie King on Camp Creek or Cascade. The only reason I am giving 1 star is this is the only way to post my review. I would definitely give this Smoothie King "Zero Stars." read more

I don't normally write reviews but the customer service has been an issue for me for a while now and today took the cake. I frequent this location a minimum of 5 days a week. I order the same thing every time (2 PB swizzles bowls) and always ask for them to be placed in bags because I've had spillage issues before. Not only were they not placed in the bags like I asked but were poorly made. When the young man brought the bowls (without bags) to my car, I said to him "I requested bags". He said technically the bags are for the cups. I said I still wanted bags and his response was "it bees like that sometimes". I've encountered him before and he's always somewhat rude. I tried to call the store to speak with a manager and was told she wasn't there. They would not give me any other information so here I am writing a review. For the amount of money I spend there on a weekly basis, I expect more and it looks like I will not be going back. read more

This was my first time at a Smoothie King location. While in Atlanta, I was craving a smoothie and I came across this Smoothie King. The store appeared to be clean and organized. The staff were somewhat friendly. I love strawberries and bananas so I ordered the Banana Berry Treat and it tasted great. The service is absolutely terrible, the smoothies are inconsistent, the wait is always excruciating, I honestly have nothing good to say about this place. It's unfortunate because I live in the neighborhood and it's easy for me to get to from the house. I would rather go out of my way to another location than give these folks another dime of my hard earned money. Wow! What an absolutely AMAZING experience my friends and I had at the NEW Smoothie King in Hapeville!!!!! I invited over 15 of my friends to the new location and we spent hours relaxing in the spacious space while we tried different smoothie flavors. The staff was patient and attentive to each of us and the smoothies were delicious. The owner came out to check on us several times and hand delivered our smoothies to our tables so we wouldn't have to get up. We plan to make this a monthly outing! This is one of the BEST Smoothie King locations I have ever tried. Hats off to the managers and staff!!!!! read more

I am a sucker for Smoothie King. I can't help it. Gawsh I L-O-V-E the Angel Food Cake smoothie. One day I will venture out and try new flavors... The reason I give this particular location a 5 star rating is because of my main man that works there in the afternoons. The smoothies are great, but the service is awesome. He is the happiest most helpful person I have met behind a counter. He always has some fashionable older women hanging out in there when I drop by in the afternoons, drinking wheat grass. Now if you are getting the attention from the true Southern Belles, you know he's got something worth talking about! I have to go back and find out his name so he can get some street cred! Its just plain refreshing to see customer service at its best! Thanks Smoothie King. We will definitely be back for more delish delights in Hapeville! Just attempted to be a great person after my workout and grab a smoothie for dinner and was denied access. This location closed 30-45 minutes earlier than stated on the door and online. The staff stated they have to close early do to being shortly staffed. There were two young ladies working which is pretty standard for this location. The service is usually mediocre but it appears to be declining. I love smoothi king but this location could use some help. read more

Worst smoothies king...was in town for 2 weeks for work....tried to enjoy a smoothie every morning before work and the gym and this place is nothing but inconsistent! The days that they actually open on time they are busy, and very behind bc short staffed. On occasion I enjoy a fruit drink as a snack and Smoothie King satisfies the bill. This location is always is better then most with a friendly staff. The hardest part for me is narrowing down the menu options to what I want. I choose fruit over flavor and additives(boosters). read more

This just may be the worst Smoothie King in the state of GA, thew few times I've come to this location, (old location as well) they wait is 20+, the employees typically move with no sense of urgency, its unorganized, the employees lack training and are always confused. The manager simply doesn't care, he is literally there for a check. He leaves teenagers to run his store, and they are literally running it into the ground. It's not their fault thought, I blame the higher ups for not monitoring their locations. There's no way this place is still being ran like this at a new location, new location, same service. SO SAD! I arrived to store on Nov 25, 22 at approximately 8:52 hrs and saw 3 female employees standing with their arms folded. 1 black female wearing glasses who refused to give her name said "were closed" I then stated but the door is stil opened and the door says 9p and it's 8:52. The same female looked at "Beth" who was said to be the shift leader whoi mmediately walked to the back instead of store in stead of taking on the leadership role and address my concern. I requested the name of the store manager however all 3 women refused my request. The black unnamed female with glasses said they were unable to make my order bcuz the register needed to be counted out prior to leaving. I informed her I have the smoothie king app and was planning paying through the app. I was still denied service. Finally Beth came from the back of store and offered no assistance and stood by her staffs decision to not make me a smoothie. I departed the store and sat in my car to write this complaint and I witness a man who entered the store AFTER me depart with 40oz smoothie which he claimed was an online order. At approx 9:12p I witnessed the female with glasses walk out the back door with approximately 3-4 smoothies in which she took to a black sedan. This type of behavior toward the public is unacceptable on all levels and I will be forwarding this complaint to yelp as well. This is by far the slowest Smoothie King I've been to. There are never enough people working to keep up with the traffic that this location gets. I came here before work one day and had to wait a whole 30 minutes to get a SMOOTHIE!!!! You would think that since they're always so busy they would hire more people to work during their peak hour. Then the guy at the register didn't even acknowledge me while I waited for him to take my order as I stood there awkwardly waiting for him to finish what he was doing. This location is horrible.! The young people are really untrained, they walk and work like you work for them. I came in to get a smoothie one day and 2 people were inside and 2 in the drive thru. I got there at 2:40 pm and waited so long I was almost late for work. With them starting to make my drink at 3:18pm. They sat the tickets down all over the place forgetting where they put them and not following the order of them by number on the ticket. When they finally got too mines I requested no water but less ice so it blends. The young lady that started to make it put 2 things I was allergic to in the blender twice she kept messing up I told her just to take it out the bowl. After I asked her did you put the juice I requested in there because I'm allergic to the juice that comes with it? she says "I don't know". That's when I requested someone else make it since she was having so much trouble. A black male seemed older than the rest decides to makes it and just pumps and pumps water in an all fruit smoothie with no frozen items in it. I told him I did not want all the water because they make the smoothies quite watery and nasty might I add. He says"no it's the way it says it's supposed to be made". I asked him if someone could not have sugar and the recipe tells you to put in two green scoops and you request none is he putting sugar in someone's drink? He says "I don't know yea I guess". At that point I was late for work and done with this place asked for my money back and they say where's your receipt what did you order? I'm looking at him like I guess everyone is hiring anyone at this point. I asked for a manager he said it was him. I told him to reprint my ticket since I was the last person he said "he couldn't". So I left never received my smoothie nor my money. Reached out to the non responsive owner and their corporate office no response. Every time I call they say it's escalated which must means it's in the garbage. That was 2 months ago and still nothing. Now I have to go report it as theft with my bank. No Consistency! We really want to like this Smoothie King, but the employees seem shell shocked, they walk around in a daze. My husband and I have been to this SK at least 8 times since its opening and 5 out of the 8 times something has been wrong with our smoothies. They have given us the wrong smoothie order, forgotten to add our add on ingredients, but lately, they keep forgetting to add Ice...The cup feels cold and the first few sips taste fine. But after we have driven away from the SK we realize that our smoothies are lukewarm, foamy and frothy. At least 3 times we have had to turn around and get them to redo the smoothie with ice. Today, my smoothie had no ice in it but I just didn't feel like going back for a fix. I don't know...it doesn't seem like a difficult job, but perhaps it is. The only thing consistent about this SK location is that they are more likely than not to screw up your smoothie. Every time we leave this location, we have spent between $21 to $22, we would really love to get our money's worth for a change. Redeeming quality is that when you tell the employees that the ice is missing (or whatever ingredient is missing), they are pleasant and apologetic and will fix your smoothie immediately. This is the worst location I've been to. The service sucks. Your order is not based on first come first served. Basically which ever one they feel like fixing first is the one that gets done.
