Although the singular worker seemed bored with the day (this was Dec. 28th), my Lemon Ginger smoothie was good and so was the coffee protein something that I got for my husband. The store was bright and the team member was masked (sign says masks are required) and made the drinks quickly. The floor was sticky and there were some fruit flies present. Having worked in similar food service, I know a few fruit flies aren't a sign of neglect or uncleanliness, so totally allowing a pass on that front. AT LAST! My dreams are realized and Smoothie King is in Naperville!! When I found out they were open this morning I ran out in the rain to get a taste. They have a sizable menu and my old fave Immune Builder is still on it, though the formula is a bit different (not bad, but I could do without the blueberries). Happily there are many other flavors to try as well! Staff is still learning (they JUST opened this a.m.; I was their fourth customer) but friendly and eager to please. I got a medium and as soon as she handed it to me I thought it was odd that it wasn't heavy at all. It was extremely light. The taste was OK but the consistency was foamy and creamy....odd. I went in around 5pm on Wednesday wanting to buy a gift card for a high school student who had just experienced a very traumatic accident that left her unable to eat solid food. Smoothie King's gift card reader wasn't working and they said they weren't able to sell me one. When I told, Tara, the person behind the counter the situation, she called the owner of the store, Sam, and they put their head's together and came up with a customized solution that would allow me to leave with a gift card AND two complimentary smoothies that I immediately delivered to the family. I was like the second person in line for a smoothie took them 20 minutes to get my order done they finally got it done after these girlies were having a great long ass conversation. No offense but they were moving like sloths. In the 20 minute span I was in there they gave the wrong change back to some girl and forgot how many smoothies this one dude ordered lmaoooo. I have never left a bad review before but I just want others to avoid being SCAMMED by this place and their online ordering. Because I was sick, I was looking for a smoothie to be delivered. I went on their website and went through the process of ordering a smoothie, plus paying tax, delivery fees, and a driver tip. No problems at all, payment went through and it said my smoothie would be there soon. After an hour and a half of waiting, I called the store only to be told that delivery wasn't an option despite their website allowing me to pay for it. When I said it was fine and politely asked for refund of my $19, I was told by a worker that the manager expressed that because they made the smoothie I could not get a refund nor any type of store credit. They made no attempt to get me back my money even though it was their mistake for having delivery open as an option on their website. They essentially took my money without taking any responsibility for their mistake or working to refund me. I will be warning my friends that I DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I don't like providing feedback on a public forum and I tried to do so privately via your website but the brilliant wisdom of your corporate office has decided to stop allowing customers this option so here I am. 3/5 stars because I usually have no issues with my experience at this location. However, today I stopped in and the employee serving me who already had gloves on and was likely touching all different surfaces then took my order. He not only touched the register to ring in my order but bc your cc machine facing the customers were down he took my card to swipe on his end. Never changed his gloves then continued to pull off online order from the printer and line them up, all while wearing the same gloves. Then he proceeded to make my order as well as a few of the online orders simultaneously without changing his gloves. I wouldn't have cared too much as I've my immune system is strong but he was handling other ppl's orders and on top of it there was a hair in my smoothie as well as some unidentifiable gritty substance that was definitely not a normal ingredient. In today's environment I would expect food safety and sanitation training to be the highest priority. Very disappointing to witness otherwise. read more

my dear brothers i am deeply saddened by my most recent smoothie king experience. the close at 9:00pm on Fridays and it was 8:54. i was expecting to place my lips around a freshly opened straw and sip up the succulent angel food smoothie. however i was treated like i was the lowest of low, king of garbanzo. now the white lady there saw me at the door and i was knocking but she didn't budge. neither of us were giving ground. after a fierce stare down i had won, but she had merely led me to believe i was going to suck on the straw and lap up the smoothie. i was wrong just. i grabbed my heart and wailed in pain. my life was ending and i felt it slipping away with every second going by. i closed my eyes and realized, i was in heaven it was so bright and nice but was this just and illusion. certainly not. it felt as real as a billion stars slamming into the earth as i ate the last cookie. the sweet taste of victory was on the tip of my tongue. aww the sweet sweet taste of victory. i stepped through the gates of heaven just as i realized, this was a dream and all i was doing was getting back in my car. one out of five and i call that generous. phew phew, good day sir and a merry christmas to you and you folks.ta a read more
