Smoothie King on 159th in Tinley is one of my go-to spots. I especially love the Mango Ginger Papaya smoothie. it's always fresh and refreshing. Fridays are even better when members get the free upgrade, which is a nice bonus. I really appreciate the fresh fruit options for both smoothies and bowls, and everything always tastes high quality. The store itself is very clean and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, great service, great smoothies, and a consistently positive experience. Located right at the corner of Oak Park and 159th, this is a great site serving Oak Forest, Tinley Park, and Orland Park. They should really do well in the Summer months. They have an extensive menu of flavors and sizes. Just opened so they are having some opening jitters, but this is a nice addition to the area. We had lemon twist strawberry with raspberries and a shot of immunity boost - this was 4 star stuff and was delish. The other party had strawberry blueberry and frozen yogurt concoction that also was 4 star stuff. While we have only been here once, they start out at four stars. We have to return and try some other varieties. The staff inside was really helpful ... who ever is doing the hiring is doing he right thing - keep it up. read more

The smoothies are always great from this location, however I wish there was a way for them to update us in the app when ordering so we aren't waiting 20 mins just to be told when we get to the window that they are out of half the ingredients needed to make my smoothie. I came here yesterday. I placed an order for one smoothie online at 1:30 PM. I got in line at the drive thru because only one car was in front. The girl asked me to wait a minute, which was more like five. I was then able to tell her my name to pick up and she told me to come around to the next window. I finally received my smoothie at 1:54 and only because I kept honking and had to wave a younger guy down who was working the front registers for orders inside. The girl totally vanished and said screw her job apparently. No one should wait 24 minutes for an overpriced smoothie!! People looked very unhappy inside waiting as well. Honestly worst customer service experience ever! Originally went through drive thru but after saying hey hello are you today I got no response so I deciders to go inside. When I got inside store completely empty I briefly looked at menu bc I seen employees were sort of busy. I then stood by register for 7 mins and got no greeting or an employee asking to take my order. I asked for assistance and was greeted by aggressive hand gestures and an attitude by Allison ( as on receipt). She then proceeded to give me ultimatum if I want to get something or not. I explained I'm just a customer that's spending money and would just like to be greeted and not mistreated, I asked for a manager and got no information. None of the three young lady's wanted or tried to help me in fact one kind of was snickering at the fact I was having a hard time. I then placed my order after my wife being pregnant really wanted the pb swizzle however after Allison went to back and came back with the bowls and from rude customer service I could not trusty the integrity of the staff and asked for refund. I went to the smoothie king in orland park and was immediately greeted by two young men upon entry and excited to take my order. This is a huge problem within our society nowadays employees don't value the customer and lack basic skills in operating a business. I will never go to this location again. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I placed a smoothie bowl order. At the window I let them know I had an order. I waited in a line for 20 minutes just for them to tell me that they no longer have the items for my order. The employee then proceeded to tell me there is no manager to give me a refund. She stated that she would be sending a text to her manager asking how to proceed with the refund. We then proceeded to wait 20-25 additional minutes in the drive-thru watching the employees stock the ice and fill the fruits anything BUT figure out my refund. We decided to go inside the building to figure things out only to find out they were waiting for a text from their manager with what they can do. No communication of what was going on. I stated that there should have been some communication when the employee told me that she would have to take my name down and the manager would call me the next day she was in. I told the employee that this would not be a solution for me as I would be leaving with no product and no refund and lived a state away. I asked the employee to call the manager. After about 10 additional minutes the employee asked for my card as if suddenly she was able to refund me my money. I felt as if the whole interaction was poor customer service and poor training. The people working there were nice, which is why this isn't a 1 star review. They were bewildered by my order, (which was a request for a smoothie with 2 different fruits and Greek yogurt). After repeating the three ingredients to them 7 times, they finally seemed to get it. But then the smoothie I got 10 minutes later had banana instead of blueberries. I love smoothie king. This location, however, needs help. It can take 15 mins maybe longer to get a smoothie. You can tell the workers don't like their job. They are short handed or their system is not working. Top managers need to work on this location in regards to quickness and customer service. I know someone that said she doesn't go here anymore due to the lack of customer service. Again I love smoothie king and if there was another location I would not come back here. Terrible Customer Service. I am sorry Smoothie King. I was a first time customer. I had been so excited to try a smoothie. However, my husband and I were there at approximately 5pm on April 5, 2024 to purchase smoothies for the family. We walked in there were 4 employees. 2 behind the counter and 2 outside of the counter sitting at tables. There were no other customers in the store. After being there for 10 minutes, not one employee even acknowledged our presence. No one asked us if we wanted to order. No one said hello or said "I will be right with you" So we walked out and probably will not return as this was unacceptable. The 4 employees working on that date should be terminated or properly trained to at least acknowledge the customer. read more

I can't warn you all enough to stay away from this location. Spend the extra 10 min and drive to Mokena where the team members are genuinely nice people. I called and spoke with Stephanie about my açaí smoothie bowl that I received half full and totally liquified and she could care less. Told me I had to bring the whole melted bowl back for a refund. Even after saying I was at home with my toddler and my husband had brought me the bowl home so I could have lunch (within 15 min of the time stamp on the label), she had zero empathy and offered no apology. She even encouraged me to hang onto the bowl and bring it in at a later date!!! I ordered a smoothie bowl because I'm too busy taking care of children and working from home to make myself lunch but she thinks I have the time to make extra trips for a bowl they messed up??? Ridiculous. I took photos the second I had opened the bag before I even called. Offered to send those and Stephanie declined saying they needed the physical bowl back. I had to call my husband at work and ask him to take more time from his day to come back and get the bowl in order for me to get a refund. Truly disappointed and will never go back. Absolutely disgusting attitude towards customers paying $12 for a smoothie bowl. read more

First time at any Smoothie King location and I was super impressed. Was really excited for this to open, as it's right down the street from my house. Ordered ahead on the app while I was about 10 minutes away. Arrived a bit early, and my drink was ready on time while the store was pretty busy. Impressed by the quality of the smoothie as well. Only problem with this location is the parking situation. Limited parking and it's very close to the drive thru lane. Otherwise, great experience and I'll definitely be back. read more

Smoothies are good but service is excessively slow. I placed my order on line and arrived 3 minutes ahead of my scheduled pickup time. I was fourth car in drive thru line. 35 minutes later I was at the front of the line. They could only find one of my two smoothies. 13 minutes later I had my second smoothie. 48 minutes wait is not worth it. I'll shop elsewhere. read more
