That's the level I was at when I crawled into Donelson Chiropractic Clinic and met Dr. Rewan. This man? An adjustment wizard. I told him I wasn't into the feather-light "maybe next time" style of chiropractic care. I needed the real stuff. The neck crack that feels like it just released a demon. The reset that instantly calms the internal rage monster. And he delivered -- skillfully, safely, and with actual care. He asked the right questions. He listened. And most importantly, he got results. Oh, and I'm pretty sure he readjusted my jaw. Like -- actually shifted something back into place that had no business being wherever it was before. No, he didn't "cure" me -- I've got a long history of issues that don't vanish in one session. But he did something better: got me back to my version of normal. That precious state where I can go through my day without obsessing over every click in my jaw, every stab in my neck, or every fireball in my traps. I went in for two adjustments, and the difference was undeniable after the first. I'll be going back -- this time long before I let myself fall back into that dark place. Now that I've found Dr. Rewan, I'm not rolling the dice on anyone else and I feel confident I can see someone before it takes such a dark turn. He didn't see me as a walking injury or a long-term revenue stream. He saw a human being in pain -- and he wanted to help. He wasn't a predator stalking his next half-broken victim. Over my many years coming to this practice, I have not once been laid up on the couch unable to move like I was when I first came to him. Carrying stress and tension in my neck and shoulders will not be something that will just go away. I have a lot of anxiety/trauma and depression and this aspect of taking care of my body is one way that I just will not stop. I have also noticed on my own accord, no one has ever told me this but it seems my body suggests the same problem areas for a length of time and then once that area has been worked on, I find another part of my body will show that it needs attention. Starting with most recent traumas then going to the trauma prior to it, and so on. First it was my neck and shoulders, then it moved to my tailbone many months later. I can fully tell you my neck was trauma of being rear ended and my tailbone was when I was in grade school and was pushed with my knees swiped under me onto the hard gym floor, falling on my tailbone. I am a true believer and the results I have, prove to me why. My husband was skeptical but he has had less than a handful of sicknesses since being adjusted here (and I'm the same).
