For our main course, we got the mixed kebab and a whole grilled fish. I loved the chicken kebab, but the lamb and ground beef were a little tough and chewy. The fish was out of this world. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and it was crispy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. Overall, I was very impressed with the seasoning on everything. Sweet curry, buffalo, barbecue... not ketchup and mayo. The line was long -- like the whole city had the same craving at the same time. You literally see the raw fries, then the cooked fries, and it's like an assembly line. One guy takes your sauce order, the other guy repeats it back like telephone, and you watch it get passed down and checked. They don't ask a million questions because it's simple -- we sell fries and sauces. What do you want? Ambience: tiny walk-up, as small as a food spot can get, but it works. Friendly staff that speak English and made sure our order was correct. Had to use Visa as AmEx was declined. Spicy an non spicy sauce options over tasty halal kebabs and falafel.
