These people have been over, billing me every day. They claimed it was because I wanted a…read moremonth-to-month since I am a government contractor and move sometimes. The law states that if I take government orders, they have to cancel my yearly contract with no penalties. They decided to overbid me and charge me almost $70 a month for over a year. I have called them. I have moved from that location. They have refused to help me they will not answer my calls anymore. The Anytime fitness here has told me they cannot change my home gym. Lansing has to. They cannot change my billing. Lansing has to now I cannot get the Lansing Anytime fitness to cancel my membership since they are unethical and have illegally build me. I tried to email their email they claim to use and I had a message come back saying it could not be delivered if my membership is Bill one more time after I post this I am suing the gym since this is now proof I have tried multiple ways to get them to stop being unethical. Cancel my membership immediately and grow some ethics.

My daughter and I have always struggled with our weight and that is why we wanted to join this gym. But when I started they told me they would wave the start-up fees over the phone before they saw us, then after my free week he then said it would be half of the start-up fee. Ok not sure why you changed your mind but whatever it was only going to be 30 a month for me, 20 a month for my daughter with a 50 dollar start-up fee. Then tonight he now told me that if I didn't commit for 24 months my price goes up 10 dollars a person. So not sure why they are so money hungry and why they want to lie to their customers other then he was trying to run us out. So be it they win this battle, I will be quitting at the end of the month and taking my business elsewhere. So if your beautiful and have no flaws go for it join this gym. But for the rest of us take your business elsewhere where they don't discriminate.

You may have to pass the "parking guard" and tell them you're going to Y so they let you through. For the most part this YMCA does care about it's participants. I have filled out comment cards and have had a call back promptly. When I rejoined the YMCA, they would call and make sure my membership was going smoothly. The only thing that prevents this gym from being 5 stars is that the closest you can get to a free bench press is with powerlifting equipment, which is less comfortable and intuitive than designated flat benches for bench pressing.
