I would give ZERO STARS if I could. My mortgage broker was great, but the company is horrendous. Don't walk, RUN from this company. I keep praying another mortgage company will buy my loan from this tiny, low budget lender. They have no idea what they are doing and customer service NEVER calls you back. I sadly have two loans with this company for two properties. I have had to call customer service three times in the 8 months I have had these loans. My current issue is after 8 months they now are trying to take impounds out of my autopay mortgage payment. Had I not been looking at my loan I would have never know and they would have been pocketing the money. I pay all of my insurance and taxes and have never had impounds. I can understand making a mistake. What I am so troubled by is their customer service and their lack of follow up. I called about four weeks ago and they said it would take three weeks to investigate and such, I asked if she could e-mail me confirming the details of the follow up and she said that I should just trust that it is going to get done and they would get back to me. Never heard anything so I called back after three weeks. I spoke to a very nice lady but she also promised to call me back and seemed to have a sense of urgency, but she too failed to call me back with an update. I am thinking with todays technology that this should be an easy fix. Call number three having to have to beg for a supervisor at this point I finally was able to speak to someone who assured me that it shouldn't take more than a day to fix. I am waiting fingers crossed. Why do I need to call three times to get this fixed. The follow up is terrible. I also laugh every time my autopay goes through I get this generic e-mail confirming my payment that looks like it came from a 5th grader. It has no company information or any details at all, you would think they would at least leave you with their web address or phone number but no. It literally says your payment went through and that is about it. It really speaks to the company and who they are low budget, unprofessional and lacking any value or care for its customers. There are so many other options out there that value your business I would choose anyone other than SNAPFI. read more

As for the company SnapFi, I have to give it 4 stars because there needs to be some improvements in their web site---for example, I was asked 3 times to provide proof of my homeowner's insurance but there is no specific section on the site to upload that information. Also, there needs to be a bit more transparency about when the loan approval process will be completed---we applied for a refinancing while there was a mad rush across the U.S. to get mortgages re-financed so I understand there were huge demands on the company staff, but I wish the company had given us more accurate info on when the process would be completed. read more
