For the last two years in a row when I come to Vegas, I've visited Snappy's. The menu is very simple (yay for indecisive eaters!), the options being either a grilled cheese combo, or single/double patty cheeseburger. Combo come with fries and either a soda or icee. The grillee cheeses are served on sourdough with herb butter and some kind salt (I presume garlic salt). I love the burgers here, you can't go wrong with brioche bun, double meat with cheese, grilled onions, and thousand island sauce. The fries are oh so crispy, and compliment the burger well . I love supporting a small local business, and the novelty of sitting back, and tuning in to the movie that's rolling while you enjoy your burger and fries. Last year, it was Fight Club. This year, it was The Wizard of Oz. I can't say for certain, but the movie screen looks like it's been upgraded from last year. Despite it being bright outside, the movie was visible well. Super cute!!! Love the unique concept of this burger joint! Very old school movie vibe with a simple menu. I got the snappy cheeseburger with fries and a vanilla creme soda. The burger was good but did seem a little under seasoned- could definitely of used some more salt. The fries were so fire and the soda came in a glass bottle and was vintage style. Ordered 2 Single Combo Icees and let me tell you, I was completely impressed. The photo depicts the icee IRL FR FR. It was super sized and we couldn't finish them. The burgers were amazing both fresh out the window and 30mins after(the drive home) I loved the fries as well. Our comparison was to an in and out burger and would definitely chose snappys! Unless your just craving the in and out sauce. The only thing I didn't like about this burger was the onions were semi-grilled. The condiments are given on the side in little to go packets. I prefer this as well in case you don't want mustard, mayo or ketchup. There is no dine-in area but there is a big screen (drive in style) if you want to eat in your car. I love this concept as well! If I am ever craving a burger... which is rare, I wouldn't mind making the drive to eat at snappys Definitely recommend giving them a try. read more

I had a really frustrating experience trying to visit this dragon theater last night. Unfortunately, we never even made it inside because the directions and entrance situation were so confusing first, the directions let us to the wrong entrance entirely when we finally found signage that said, entered to the left there was actually an illegal left turn at that exact spot making it impossible to follow the sign without breaking traffic rules. We ended up having to drive past it make a U-turn and try again after looping back around things somehow got even more confusing there was no clear entrance visible anywhere no wall marks, driveway, ticket booth, or staff directing cars. We drove around for quite a while trying to figure out where we are supposed to go, but it was extremely poorly marked and difficult to navigate at night to make matters worse through the GPS took us through to try to find an entrance, let us through an area that felt very unsafe late at night, combined with the lack of lighting signage or clear directions. The whole situation made us uncomfortable enough that we eventually gave up and left. A drive in theater should make arriving simple and welcoming, but the lack of clear directions and proper signage made this experience, stressful and disappointing. I would strongly recommend they improve their Internet sign edge end navigation instructions to customers can actually find their way in. read more

Quintessential drive in. We went when Titanic was playing. One of my wife's favorites. We went with my 1 year old. Suffice it to say she had fun too! The parking lot itself is rather small so bigger vehicles be warned. But it was an awesome experience! The burgers were surprisingly delicious! Fries were cooked perfectly! The icee was a tad too sweet for the wifey and I. But the cream soda was bomb. This is more of a date night or family night type place. Definitely a spot to check out if you're a Vegas local like us OR if you're from out of town and want to experience a drive in theater. Kinda like this place. The have a slushy that's just like our shaved ice in Hawaii, BUT...they only have ONE flavor. They have good burgers there. I like the fact that it's like a drive-in movies there and they have old movies as well as new good movies. Just tried the burger today and I thought it was a good burger. This place is a must - at least once. The food was good, but there are better burgers around town. The eclectic vintage sodas are fun. This place is all about being family owned, and fun. The staff working there seems to love it. Check their website before you go so you can see what movies they are featuring, and often they will give free stuff for dressing in costumes or something similar. My daughter mentioned going to Snappy Burger with my sister once, and she said it was a fun experience. I had a different image in my head when we drove by, but I was excited! We took our toddler niece with us three that day, and it was nice not having to take her out of the car, or chase her to sit still. We just ate in the car, and relaxed. After observing, there is a way for families to see what they'll be showing for the month online, or with a text option, so you can find out what is playing before you stop by. Snappy Burger's menu was very simple, a couple of burger combo options, with a snappy ice upgrade option. You can also add on candies, popcorn, some comics, ice cream, and nachos! We opted for just food because we needed our niece to eat and not switch her fries for snacks! The young lady at the window was friendly! She was patient, gave my daughter some candy, and smiled at the kids while we were figuring out what to get. We paid her, and the second booth was where we waited for our combos. Overall, before we got our food, we waited about 7 minutes total. Then we parked, and switched over to the radio station to listen to the movie, HOP. The booths where you order, and wait for food have posters of old movies, and they're full of different ones all over, so it was very entertaining to look at while we were waiting. Our food was good! Not the best burgers in town; but it wasn't anything that was unappealing, or not tasty. The fries were great also! It was a great experience for us to be able to relax, sit, and enjoy a movie with not causing too much commotion or disruption for a toddler, and for a teen! The issues I had were they do not give you napkins, ketchup or ranch. (Not sure if they offer the condiments, since we did not ask.) We always try to carry napkins though, because kids happen. There are no trash cans in the lot, so you have to carry your trash with you, or find a garbage. The parking is not too big either, so it is more of a first come and first serve basis. Also, there are no restrooms, so if you come with kids be sure to search around in case they need a pit stop. I will be back with my daughter though! The food was definitely fresh and you know a place has a good hamburger when they include thousand island dressing. When I first came to Snappy Burger it was newley opened and still called Burger 51. It was heavily sci-fi themed and served only burgers, popcorn, candy and soda. Well, it was not long before they changed things up a little bit. New name - Snappy Burger. New menu item - fries. New theme - not limited to scifi. Plus the addition of a shade cover for the movie screen to cut sun glare during day time visits. The new additon fries here are of the battered variety. Not always my favorite but these do have good flavor. And you get a whole cup of them with a combo order. The new sun shade on the screen was not immediately seen by me. When I did notice it I could see a huge difference. The shadow cast on the screen covered a good 80 percent. The picture was hard to see in the areas not covered by it. Good addition. Some things have stayed the same. The retro scifi movie posters are still there. The burgers are still amazing, fresh and juicy. The soda options are still just a little different than most fast food places (Boylan root beer, anyone?). Still a cool and unique place to grab a burger and watch a little entertainment while you eat. I've been here three times over the past 14 or so months. I'll be back again. read more

A unique spot tucked away on Decatur/95. The main entrance is off of Decatur. The parking lot is tiny so if you have a larger vehicle, maneuvering will be harder. It's strictly drive thru from what I saw, so no walking up to a window to order your food. You first order from a tiny shack about 20 feet before the main building. They don't have a bathroom and they don't have fountain drinks- but a drink does come with a combo deal. They have bottled/canned beverages and didn't carry any diet drinks. They have the larger sized soda cans, which I've never seen before. They also have tall Arizona iced teas. The wait for our food was pretty quick! We paid and our food was ready and no one was in front of us. The workers were pleasant and all smiles, which was nice. I don't care for battered fries, which they serve here, but I'd rather come here than a large chain. The movie on the screen was Jurassic park and the sound quality for the movie was perfect. When checking out, I don't recall them hitting you up for a tip, so that was nice- even though these young ladies deserve it. read more
