I'm so disappointed. My favorite sandwich has always been a snarfs blt but this location I know for sure has been skimping me on my bacon [I ordered it twice from them to make sure and now I'm sad]. It should be called and LTB because there is t even enough bacon to cover the surface of the sandwich and before the sandwiches came with a substantial amount that not only covered the surface but also had several layers of bacon. Always had a good time going here for lunch in Boulder. I love their sandwiches so much I'd eat one on Monday and then still want another on Tuesday. It was always busy during lunch but they operated a smooth running business and I always got my sandwich quickly. My favorites are the Italian and Prime Rib. Ordered a sandwich online for pickup and was very disappointed to discover that none of my order's details were fulfilled: requested no mayo, but ended up with a sandwich slathered in it; requested and paid for additional meat, but definitely none added; requested wheat bread, got white; and even the toppings that are included standard with all Snarf's sandwiches didn't make it onto mine. Pretty good sandwich (got the artichoke provolone) - but everything kind of lacked flavor. I think if the artichokes or mushrooms added were marinated/grilled beforehand it would be a flavorful sandwich. The artichokes seem to be the canned in water kind. I'm wondering if they use organic bread and organic produce (would think so at this price but will ask next time). I had requested extra mayo and mustard but there seemed to be none, making this quite dry. Love the hot peppers. I ordered online and estimate was 60 minutes- busy on weekends so plan accordingly! I am on a medical school rotation at the UCHealth across the street and all the nurses and medical assistants recommended this place. I went for lunch last week. Colorful decor and super nice staff. I got the 5 inch Italian sandwich which I thought was enough to hold me through the rest of the day (although I would recommend the 7 inch if you're hungry). The Italian sandwich had a lot of meat and was super flavorful, 5/5 would recommend. My SO likes the BLT and told me he goes to the Denver locations often. 4/5 stars only for lunchtime 12-1 PM inconvenience. They were short staffed and made this clear to me. I waited 40 mins to get the sandwich which I did not expect (I expected more fast food service). Apparently they have an app where you can order online so I will try that out next time. I think it's important to keep in mind Boulder restaurants can get super busy. I'll be back! read more

As a northeastern resident, I find myself a sandwich snob. These don't disappoint- especially if you enjoy red meat. There are so many beef options in the menu, I was very excited. The star of the sandwiches is their giardiniera (on the toppings list as hot peppers). It was spicy and salty in all the perfect ways (it had picked olives - come on!!!). The bread roles are also great. They're chewy and soft but hold up great with a big sandwich. I ordered to roast beef sandwich with all the toppings (minus pickles) and I would recommend eating it that way. You definitely want some chips to accompany this thing and the soup they had (cream of jalapeño) was also decent. read more

Snarfs has very good sandwiches. They are a little too expensive for my taste. And for that reason I knock it down some stars. And I don't even get the gluten-free bread which I believe adds on about three dollars. That being said they have my favorite chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The customer service isn't great and the store is often a bit dirty. I think it's run more by college students so that's to be expected. I LOVE SNARFS! It's been about a year since I've gone to Snarf's, but the sheer fact that Snarf's wasn't getting the love made me want to contribute here on Yelp. That and on the way to work I was craving my usual sandwich here... Too bad they don't have any locations here in So-Cal. Walked here from the "Main Pearl Street Area" as this out-of-towner likes to put it and it wasnt a bad hike. It actually made me feel less bad about eating the 12" Prime Rib and Provolone sandwhich (which was ~$10) that I ordered based on fellow yelpers reviews. The sandwhich was damm tasty. Like a dumba$$ though, I didnt get the horseraddish sauce on it like the waitress recommened (I thought it was the green relishy condiment versus the delicious white creamy delight I love with a nice steak). The thing that I loved most about the sandwhich was its lighty toasted, crunchy but not hard, not difficult to chew bread. You take a bite and it would just gloriously crumble into your mouth with the fresly cut prime rib. I was thinking that getting lettuce, onions, tomatos, and vinegar and oil on the thing would ruin it but I was wrong. It just added to the perfectness of it all. I love Snarf's. I don't know why. It's just a sandwich. But I love it. I love the prime rib & provolone and the portabello mushroom & provolone. Snarf's has always been a local favorite. When Snarf's was just a tiny stand on Pearl St. and there were no tables to sit at, I still happily chowed down my sandwich in the car. This was delicious and a cool place overall. My friend ordered Italian sandwich and loved it. Fresh, delicious. I awarded a four instead of 5 because the tomatoes on my salad had some weird brown/black marks on them (they were grape tomatoes so they should have been plain red). Boiled eggs were rubbery. The best food always come from the unexpected restaurant. My friends and i just came back from a hike and it was cold. We wanted to grab something warm and this was the only place that opened at 7pm on a Sunday night. The outside looks very normal and nothing extraordinary, you probably miss it if you are not really looking for it. However, once you step inside, it is a very colorful place. We all wanted soup and the cashier was nice enough to let us sample them. They had the chicken Mambo and poblano. The Mambo was like a gumbo, thick, spicy, and flavorful. The poblano was creamy, like chowder and filled veggies and meat. We also got the turkey and swiss sandwich and the Italian 5 inch. The bread was toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. It was packed with meat, cheese and all the toppings we asked for. It definitely hit the spot for us. The cashier was also super nice that he gave us the remaining of the Mambo which resulted our cup to be elevated into a bowl without charge. And...they were giving out day old cookies for free.
