Both were delicious, but the addition of agave syrup gave Tommy's the edge. We then proceeded to sample the majority of the limited menu including the Cochinita Pibil Tostadas, the Fish tacos, chips and guacamole, fried chicken and aioli, grilled prawns with Romesco, and the street salad. The highlights were the fried chicken which were boneless and surprisingly tender as well as the Baja fish tacos which had a lovely light batter and spicy aioli. Disappointments included the grilled prawns, which were rather bland and the summer slaw which tasted like little more than plain,undressed cabbage shredded up in a bowl. I would return here for a solid drink and to fill my worst Mexican cravings but I don't see this setting London's Mexican food scene on fire anytime soon.

We both got the BB (Brunos' breakfast) for 13 £ and it is a lot of food. They give you two pieces of buttered toast and tea with milk as a part of the meal. The BB is a lot of food - an egg, two pieces of bacon, a large sausage, two hashbrowns, a bubble and squeak (mashed potatoes with peas/green veggie patty), and baked beans. Zilly does extensive breakfast options - shout-out to their omelettes, which are soft and perfectly cooked: a rarity in London! - as well as some less expected options such as chicken kiev lunch plates, and a range of burritos. Sandwiches, hot toasties and melts, jacket potatoes: Zilly has a wide range of options to suit every taste from the carnivorous to your most rigidly vegetarian pal. Nothing will set you back more than 5 - 7 GBP, and they have a degree of flexibility with swap-outs and add-ons (for breakfast, most additions are a very reasonable 1GBP or so).
