So I'm really conflicted on how to review Pete's Bar because I was only in there for an hour or so but it really gave me an odd feel the whole time. The bar is quite large especially if you take into account the gaming (internet sweepstakes) back room. The bar was by no means busy but did start filling up as the night went on. It was Karaoke night after all. What I really didn't care for were the gaming stations right at the bar. I can understand why they are there but it would really cut into the happy hour festivities if all your friends were just sitting there playing 'sweepstakes'. And the monitors are HUGE. It could be because I'm just not a big supporter. Also, getting here is not exactly easy especially if you don't familiarize yourself with that are first. Nav systems will be helpful if you have them (thank you Droid). High points are that the bathrooms are clean, beer was cold, and from what I hear, the bar food is pretty good. The people that come here range from the older regulars to the Eastlake dive bar crowd to the occasional college kids. Now as I don't give out 1-2 star reviews very often, I do believe in the 3 strike rule. I will return, probably for food and beers, where I'll revisit this review and update accordingly.
