Don't get hair cut or beard trim from Aliks. after one and half hour it's what I get. It's the…read moreworst service I have ever gotten in my life UPDATE: After my review, the owner reached out and processed a full refund, which I appreciate and want to acknowledge. Still, my original experience stands, and I am keeping my rating based on the service I received. Additionally, if a barber is not fully trained or capable of providing even a basic level of professional service, they should not be working on customers until they receive proper training. No client should have to deal with avoidable mistakes like crooked beard lines, uneven cuts, or poorly executed work.

We were in West Yellowstone for 3 weeks, while we are working and living on the road during Covid,…read moreand my partner needed a haircut. We were concerned because there are really no options in this little tourist town, but when we were walking around one day, we came upon this salon. I made my partner walk-in and make an appointment immediately, since the only other place in town was booking 3 weeks out, which was not going to work as he needs a haircut every 3-4 weeks. Well, I am happy to report that he had the haircut today, and he is very happy. My partner's hair is not complex, but we've seen some pretty terrible versions over the years when he doesn't go to his "normal" person back home. The owner (who my partner forgot her name) recently moved here, which is where she grew up, after spending 20 years in Idaho Falls and opened up this shop right in the heart of town. She indicated she has been busy this summer, which is great. If you need a haircut while in West Yellowstone, we highly recommend!

Be careful of this scam business. False claims of removing wrinkles with grape seed stem cells,…read morecombined with non-stop hard sales "slick talking" by the owner/operator Amos Bublil.** Details as follows: Amos stands outside, flagging down prospects by offering a free trial. To legitimize his business, he'll falsely claim Introstem has over 700 locations, and that they hired him to open up 4 locations (Introstem's website says they have no physical locations, all are independently owned). He'll then apply some creme below one eye, which very temporarily tightens the skin. In parallel he'll say, he only wants you to buy (for $600 reduced for you to $300. Fyi red flag, prices are unmarked on the box), if you can see the results for yourself. That he offers this cream, because he "knows" you'll come back to ask what else they sell (another subtle statement of alleged credibility). He's then quick to point to a $6,000 (reduced for you, to $3,900) pretty colored/shaped UV light, that he claims enhances your treatment. However his UV light demonstration falls flat, since he claims it only works if you apply his potion first. Ask him to apply his potion to another area, and he will but then he'll wipe it off fast before it has whatever effect. --You might be asking yourself, sounds like the cremes by themselves are good. However, the temporary tightness that reduces the wrinkles, goes away fast. And the creme that he applies, leaves a chalky residue, so it has to be removed before you'd want to be seen. Oh, and if you are temped to try the Introstem creme (which I definitely do not recommend), search online for $119 to $150 by online resellers, looking to capitalize on the scam. Summary: Amos overstates, falsely claims and overprices on his scam products.
