My family & friends has been here from day 1 and we love it. They have great teas, desserts and great customer service until today. We had decided to just have ice cream than the usual snows and crepes. One of my daughter did not like the green tea ice cream and we said to go ahead and take it off the bill since she disnt like lit. The lady manager came out all angry and with her loud voice said there was nothing wrong with it since everyone likes it so we're stuck with it. I told her I'm not paying for it so she grabbed it (thought she were going to throw it at us) and walked away yelling on top of her lung screaming at us from 2 tables away and in the kitchen. At this point all my kids were shocked of her behavior. We thought she were possessed. A manager should not behave like this. If anything she should of ask if she can just give us another flavor or 0something else. In the end I had to manually subtract what we didnt eat. Over $4.50 she made a scene and every single person was staring at her. So disappointing. I tried to complain but it seems like the owner or pretend to be made many excuses for her behavior. Would recommend! -Taro Milk Teas with tapioca (3-4$) (This was pretty bland, didn't have a strong taro flavor so wasn't a big fan) I don't recommend this! -Green tea shaved ice with popping bubbles and fruits, and with condensed milk as the syrup. (8-9$) I would recommend this! My nephews loved the popping bubbles and the green tea shaved ice were pretty flavorful as well. -Mixed fruits crepe with green tea ice cream (8-9$) My favorite out of all the above. We had a big group of about 20 people coming in, and the employees didn't know how to handle it. The servers were nice but very disorganized. We could hear them passing off the responsibilities among each other to take our orders, so we ended up just taking our own orders and handed the notes back to them. At the end, we were literally kicked out by the male server with glasses in a very unacceptable way as soon as we finished paying the checks. If he asked us in a nice way, we wouldn't have any problems. Would not come back here again because of the poor service and so-so quality of desserts. read more

The only thing that I do not like about SnowFlake TeaHouse is that you can't split payments at your table. Like other restaurants where you can split the payments multiple times between people in your party, but here you can only split your bill once. Either in half or one time. You cannot split your bill one item per person in the party. So, come with cash if you are planning on splitting with more than one friend! The girl that seated my friend and me was very pleasant and friendly. She was very patient and did not rush us at all as my friend and I were taking our time to decide what we wanted to try. We decided to order the taro snow with two toppings, strawberries and mango. My friend ordered hot taro tea and I ordered an iced kumquat green tea. The taro tea was served in a very pretty traditional Chinese ceramic tea pot with two cups. I've never really had a hot taro drink, but this was good! The kumquat green tea came in a very large pitcher type glass. I never really cared for kumquat anything until a friend of mine ordered one at another place because it reminded her of Vietnam. Since then, I've been in love with it. Anyway, SnowFlake's kumquat green tea was heavenly! It was very aromatic. It could have been a less sweeter, but nonetheless it was very refreshing. The taro snow was very good, too. It was like a taro smoothie, but on a plate. The decor of the place is very simplistic with pink cushioned chairs, several booths, and a high counter top separating the kitchen area from the seating area. Overall, a very good experience! Eh...no. I heard so many great things about this place and was finally glad to check this off my list. I was incredibly disappointed. The consistency of their Dark Chocolate snow was more like ice cream anyway. To add insult to injury, the crushed oreo topping was stale. I don't know about you, but stale oreos are gross. There was barely any mochi on our snow. I wish I had taken a picture. Service almost seemed promising. I was surprised that this was a sit-down and order place, which I'm glad it is because the menu has a really long list of teas and snack choices. I don't know what was going on, but the young lady working led me to believe she was going to seat us when she asked if we were a table of two. And then she didn't as she talked to another customer. Finally, a young man asked us if we were a table of two and quickly led us to a booth. We ordered our snow and ate it, and then service was nonexistent when we were ready to check out. Both the young man and lady were too busy socializing with their customer friends to help us. So we left $10 cash on the table, which is ample to cover a $6.95 snow dish, and walked out. The young lady tried to give me attitude with an "Excuse me?" and pointing at her iPad. I pointed that we left cash on the table because "the service here sucks." Ordinarily, I don't go so far to tell a business their service sucks, but I really dislike Asian establishments like these (Quickly, Sweet Hut) that are run by teenagers on a power trip. Was it a bad night because it was Halloween? Still doesn't explain quality of the snow they served. I've had better ice/snow and service at Coffee By Hand and it's just a few doors down. One last thing, clean your bathrooms. It's disconcerting to see an hourly bathroom check list that was last initialed some time in July. read more

I love this place! Finally an authentic shaved ice place! Ricky and I go here often to relax, grab a afternoon snack, and play some very competitive Jenga :P. The texture of the shave ice is authentic like old school road stall shaved by hand. Soft, delicate, smooth melts in your mouth. It should be the opposite of american shaved ice. I asked for it to be sweeter a little bit and they said they cant do it... okay thats fine, then... my friend what drinking her smoothie and noticed a bug in her cup. You can pick two toppings such as mangos, strawberries, popping boba, mochi, etc. Than you can pick up to two syrup like condense milk or chocolate. I actually preferred it without the syrups, it was just too sweet with it. My favorite flavors of shaved ice was coffee and honey dew. Both were not overly sweet. If you choose the green tea flavor it comes with red beans automatically. The honey toast looked so fancy with the macaroons that we had to try it! Big disappointment!!! I have been to Taiwan and that was not how honey toast should taste!!! The toast was hard as a rock and I saw many tables left the toast untouched. The milk tea here is pretty good, you can really taste the tea flavor. Is you order hot tea it comes in a clear teapot with a tea light underneath to keep the tea warm. However, the only thing I don't like about it, is the stench...its a cross of sour musty order with sewage? I couldn't figure it out but I didn't like it. Their shaving are different from suno, its not snow-like but more of long sheets of ice (delicious!) but I didn't like their egg pudding. I've always been impressed by Snowflake whenever I go there for a quick milk tea or for a larger dessert such as the Honey Toast or crepes. Their desserts are always beautifully presented and ofcourse taste delicious. They honey toast may be large in scale, but it's so good you can devour it yourself haha. The bread inside is really crispy and slightly sweet and the ice cream on top makes it even more satisfying. The milk tea is better than the one in Sweet Hut in my opinion, and the crepe is also really good as well! read more
