While several people went up to grab their orders, her overall tone and demeanor came across as rude, which made the experience less enjoyable. Came back for some dessert. I was not feeling the Halo Halo this time, but instead their ice cream. I was really looking forward to the Macadamia Nut ice cream so I got a double scoop with one scoop of Macadamia nut and one scoop of Kauai Pie. Placed our orders and paid and just waiting for them to prepare it. Just for them to tell me after the fact, that they were out of Macadamia Nut. If they knew that before I ordered, I would have ordered a single scoop. I first had a halo-halo bowl many years ago when a Filipino coworker took me to try one, so I was genuinely excited when I stumbled across this place while searching online. I got regular size but regretted not getting a large. It was so good. Their shaved is is smooth which makes it really nice. The ice cream on top is good and so is all the other ingredients in it. I got a large shaved ice with Ube ice cream in the middle. I got to pick three flavors. So I picked watermelon, orange creamsicle and blue Hawaiian. I did ask if they have any sugar free flavors (just so I can put it in here for people who have dietary restrictions) he said all syrups are made there and they don't offer sugar free. But you can always say go easy on the syrup. Once the workers came out from the back ( it was a young guy and a young girl working here) things did go pretty smooth. They give you a ticket and then call your number to come pick it up at the counter when it's ready. My family and close friends have been loyal customers of this place since we discovered it about 10 years ago. We absolutely love their açaí bowls and shaved ice. Today, I went in to pick up an açaí bowl for my daughter and I too share. I thought I'd save some money if I bought a large signature bowl and share, but when I got it, it was 3/4 full or 1/4 empty(literally). When I asked the worker what was going on with the bowl not being filled to the top, she said, "that's how we make them. "I disagree because we have had them many times and never has it been so low. I told her that wasn't right and she just kind-of rolled her eyes. Not right. I'm a loyal customer and really like this place, but after today, my opinion has changed. They have soo many options from hawaiian shaved ice, acai chunky monkey and halo halo which i hear is some of the best. Nice clean place and they have a bathroom. Customer service was good.
