Car wash does a pretty mediocre job at actually washing, however do provide Damp Towels to wipe away any water spots left over from the dryers. My 2 year old daughter loves the Color Changing lights inside the tunnel, as well as the Rainbow Foam. Worker named Zane up there is very helpful. Very convenient and time saving when it's not backed up which is pretty often. 8/10 read more

The staff all wore face coverings while still providing quality service. The car wash was fun and effective. So much better than washing at home in the sun and I feel better about not wasting water. I was going to wash my Jeep yesterday,the cost for a wash is $10.00. Then the attendant explained to me that I could (by paying $15) wash my car and come back an unlimited number of times, for a month, with free vacuuming thrown in. I filled out the little application while I was going threw the was,handed the application to the attendant.He placed a electronic sticker on the inside corner of my windshield. Later that same night I thought I'd give it a try. I drove up to the entrance the gate opened automatically a I went through the wash. So simple and convenient!! Now every time I'm in town I'll get my Jeep washed. It's black so it will no doubt need it. The place is beautiful, very clean and the attendants are very friendly. read more

Not happy with the Management of this establishment. Vehicle windows ended up with major pitting after running through the wash tunnel. Had to have all windows replaced by insurance. Soapy Joe's would not accept any responsibility for the damage, so I was out my insurance deductible. Will never use this facility for any of my vehicles again. read more

I was so excited when soapy joes opened in town! I signed up for the membership (best $20 a month I spend!) and drive thru 2-3 times a week. The hours are really convenient for my work schedule and I'm so surprised this place isn't busier (the San Marcos location is always packed). Why pay $13 for one gas station car wash when you can pay a little more and go as many times as you want in a month!? The employees are taking covid precautions and keep the vacuum stations clean and come around to pick up the dirty towels often. I appreciate the free air fresheners too! read more

On Sunday, November 15th I signed up for the monthly wash program. After receiving my confirmation email, I went to the Fallbrook location to get my RFID sticker. I walked into the office, and spoke with a young lady, who said I just needed to scan the barcode on my phone, not the instructions I received from the website, but OK. I returned to my vehicle and pulled up to the gate. The young lady tried to scan the bar code on my phone but it didn't work. She asked for my credit card, which I thought was odd. I asked her why she needed my credit card, she responded it must be on file. I asked her since the monthly program was valid enterprise wide, did my credit card need to be on file at every location? She was dumbfounded and went to get the manager. The manager arrived and went through the same process of scanning the bar code on my phone. When it failed again, he also asked for my credit card and phone. I said if he needed those items I would park and meet him back in the office. He became upset, and said, "you don't want to give me your credit card," then walked away. Wait, what! Then the young lady says something to the effect of is there anything else I can do for you??? Yes, get my RFID sticker please - no luck. So, either the staff, including the manager has no idea of their own business practices, they receive an incentive for signing up monthly passes and were trying to delete my online purchase, or the manager had some other nefarious intent with my credit card and cell phone. In any case, this is horrible customer service and business practices. I reached out to Soapy Joe's on Sunday, but to response to date. Not that I'm surprised, based on the service I received on Sunday. I normally do not write reviews, but this interaction left me extremely upset. Online buyers of the monthly Soapy Joe's pass beware! read more
