We just got married in Redondo Beach on May 17, 2014. SoCal Dream Weddings did our engagement pictures and our videography at the wedding. They were AMAZING!!!! So easy and fun to work with, very professional and amazing work. Communication over email leading up to the event and during the planning process was outstanding. Oren was always attentive and available for any questions. The engagement pics were absolutely perfect - the setting, the lighting, the shots - all done so well. We have gotten so much mileage out of those pics. But the videography was second to none. These guys sent 2 cameramen with high def cameras and sound to catch every angle. They came early and stayed late, capturing every single moment - from the bride getting ready, all the way through the dancing. We just received our video today, and it is incredible. The music overlay and editing was flawless - we could not be happier. Oren and his team are true pros, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the BEST videdographer in SoCal. This is one area where you want to be sure about the skills of your vendor, and with these guys you can rest easy that everything will be better than perfect. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with our selection of SoCal Dream Weddings. They were very quick to respond to emails and phone calls and very flexible in working with us to meet our "vision". Oren and Nikita showed up on time and ready to go. They had great HD cameras that were very compact and unobtrusive. We had our reception at night and they had lights on their cameras to pick up all of the action. They had equipment to plug into the dj's equipment to get perfect audio of all of the speeches. Throughout the entire day they were getting all of the perfect shots without being visible. We were worried that getting a videographer would mean having a camera stuck in your face all day, but we barely even noticed Oren and his team. They did a great job capturing our day without us even knowing they were there. We were married on a Saturday. 5 days later Oren had already compiled a "highlights reel" quick version video with a few songs that we gave him playing in the background. We were absolutely amazed at the footage they shot, the way in which it was put together and how it flowed so perfectly with the music. We shared the video with our friends and family and everyone raved about how well the video was put together and that it brought tears to their eyes because they did such a great job of capturing all of the special moments. Oren and team at SoCal Dream Weddings are wonderful! I wasn't sure if I was going to get a videographer because of budget and to be honest there are so many videos that I've seen that just bore me. I was recommended to Oren through a friend and his pricing was just right. I met with Oren in person to explain my vision and showed him some example highlight videos I liked for editing purposes. The day of the wedding, he and his team were on time, professional and I honestly couldn't even really tell they were there. I was very surprised to get my highlight video just about two weeks post-wedding (talk about quick turnaround) and LOVED it! It was the perfect mix of emotion (we did some voice overs that brought me to tears) and fun! I couldn't stop watching it! In addition to our 10 min. highlight reel, we also got a feature length (about an hour) and our raw footage. I'm so happy I got a videographer (well worth the spend) because there were so many moments throughout the day that I just did not get to see so having these videos are really special! We hired SoCal Dream Weddings for our June 14, 2015 wedding and I am speechless at the amazing job they did. They were so professional, so great to work with. We got the highlight reel so quickly and it was so well done. They caught so many moments I didn't even realize happened! I know that it's pretty common for people to think their highlight reel is the best, but I'm pretty sure ours really is the best. It's like they knew exactly who we were and what we were about and made the perfect video for us. Oren and Justin made everyone feel so comfortable and they were able to get such great moments on film. They worked such magic on our wedding day! They really stepped up and caught a lot of our wedding day that would have been lost had we just hired a photographer. I am truly grateful! I was in contact with Oren, the owner of the company. We had discussions about how my fiance and I would like the video and recording of the sound - at first, he seemed like a good person to work with (not exactly professional, but at least willing). After about a week of back and forth emails, I had a chance to speak to him on the phone again, and asked a question that we had already discussed, because we wanted to double check that we had everything straight. He responded in a "we already talked about that, you're wasting my time" sort of tone. At that point, I decided against going with his company. Not only is he unprofessional, but still inexperienced in customer service. He may have some talent in videography, but to win over clients, he needs to work on how he treats them. read more

I never write yelp reviews - but I am excited to write this review for Oren and his team, because I can honestly say that SoCal Dream Weddings surpassed all of my expectations by a long shot. We were initially hesitant to even book a videographer, and I can say now that it was one of the best wedding decisions we made. On my wedding day, Oren and his assistant showed up early, geared up and ready to work. They started filming right off the bat and before I knew it we were rolling in the whirlwind of our big day. Oren and his assistant were in the background getting their footage, hardly noticeable. (It was important to me to not have cameras in my face all day). The next day he asked me if I had any song preferences for our videos which I thought was a great personal touch. Much to my amazement, I got my highlights video back today, and teared up with joy upon watching it. Oren and his team created the most beautiful, touching, and memorable video I could have possibly imagined. I have watched it about 10 times now and have showed all of my wedding party and family (who had the same emotional reaction as me). It was filmed and edited so beautifully with such an artistic touch - perfectly capturing the essence and energy of our day. On top of the beautiful film and the incredibly fast turnaround, I am in awe that Oren and his team caught so many beautiful, unforgettable moments on film with me hardly noticing they were there! I do NOT recommend this company for any wedding. We received our DVD, which was a complete mess. There were soo many shaky scenes, some scenes which weren't even in the DVD, no music at the appropriate times, nothing! We called Oren, let him know why we were upset, he said they'll fix it. We received the replacement DVD and were very disappointed at the outcome, once again!!!! First of all, we really expected a lot more from their company after doing our research and watching other highlight reels they did, but we were fooled, thinking our wedding video would be just as great. MOST of the scenes in my wedding video (memories forever) are shaky!! That cannot be fixed and that day cannot come back, secondly from what we are seeing, editing is definitely not a skill of Socal Dream Weddings, i mean there are unnecessary scenes which DEFINITELY could have been edited out. The "open dance floor" scene like we requested is still missing, and also food being served. ALSO our mothers both lighting the candles is still not all in the edited video and 3 out of the 4 bridesmaids walking up the aisle is totally cut out now. I don't know if these guys are just not putting a lot of effort into what they do or what it is, but these are memories i am gong to cherish forever, and sadly i cant say i'm satisfied with my wedding video. P.S Next wedding they do, I hope they invest in a camera STAND, it'll do wonders. It'll save them a lot of headache. read more

The day we returned from the honeymoon, the highlight reel from our wedding was already in my inbox! The quality of his work is beyond impressive!! I shared the highlight reel he created on facebook and I had atleast 10 people ask me for his information because his work is AMAZING!! Two weeks later I had a hard copy of the highlight reel, longer video of the wedding and all of the raw footage in the mail! I couldn't believe how quick he was able to pull everything together for us! His timeliness is impressive, but the most impressive part of Oren's work is his content. We got married on 10-10-15 and we are so glad and thankful we hired SoCal Dream Weddings to be our videographers. Oren and Justin showed up on time, were dressed appropriately and were very professional from beginning to end. For the most part, we forgot about them and didn't even notice they were there throughout the entire day and night. They did everything they said they were going to do and more. They captured every meaningful moment beautifully. They even caught the moments we didn't know were moments until we saw the video. Oren put together our highlight reel within a few days of the wedding. We have watched it countless times. Even people who were not at the wedding cry when they watch it. It is so emotional and really shows who we are and what our day was all about. When we received the full feature we were just as impressed. They got video of everything. They truly truly captured our day perfectly. Our only suggestion for their future customers is to somehow differ themselves between them and the photographer. Their video cameras look like regular cameras so sometimes people didn't know if they were being filmed or just having their picture taken or which camera to look at.
