The work that they do for the community is just it's they're just great people. They go above and beyond to help especially the homeless and anybody in need it's just I mean I get overwhelmed with emotion just thinking about how much I appreciate what they did for me. If you ever need any help I would definitely call them and get the help that you need because they will do everything they can to help you. I promise you they're true Christians and they follow the teachings of Jesus. There's nothing fake about anybody up and they make you feel welcome they make you feel like you're seen heard and cared about. They go out of their way to make sure that you know that there are people out there that you care about you and you're going through something in life.

Most importantly it was not helping residents find books, but taking the time to visit with them. The residents were offered support in so many ways: committed administrators, caring cottage parents, tutoring, counseling, help in applying for colleges or directly entering the work force. Because BGC choses not take any government funding, residents can live there past age 18. Recently, I met with 1 of the administrators who told me about their newest program. It allows a single mother with up to 3 kids to live there 18 months and receive an array of support that will tremendously benefit her and the children. The Salvation Army provides many services for people in need. This location is filled with the…read morenicest people I've ever met! I made a prepared and packaged food donation today and met with the donation coordinators. Great things are going on here. If you are interested in donating then seek out the receptionist at the door of 2202 Main. Ask anyone about days and times you can meet with the younger kids to hangout and they will gladly accept your company. Donating food or time couldn't be easier and would be greatly appreciated!

My family is known for our love, attention and dedication to our dogs and she treated us like we were the most irresponsible pet owners ever because we followed the advise of our dog's doctor. She went so far as to quote laws that aren't even fact. Another thing is they draw you in with pictures of dogs on their website then they are no where to be found. Also, I hope none of y'all are there if an incident breaks out as they allow people well beyond the capacity of the building limits in at one time. I think the purpose behind this organization is great. They should definitely look for a better "leader". One more educated and caring. All in all I can't be too upset. Their in compassionate demeanor lead me to adopt elsewhere and I have now given a homeless dog a family and home just in time for the holidays.
