Our company probably also tells them what to feed us. They are on site for daily lunches and dinners. Their food is usually dry. Chicken breast, salmon. I"m not sure why, but probably has to do w our company selecting what to feed us for dinner (company pays the dinner tab) the Veggie ONLY option always outweighs the meat. come on when you have 4-5 options and the only one is a pure non veggie, are we really catering to the general population or the veggie crowd. no way i'd pay them to feed me or any event they told yelp to review my review cuz it wasn't a direct experience um they feeding me crap that i dont want to eat.. how is that not a direct experience

I also really enjoyed how everyone got along so well. I ended up getting a job at a different company, and it was one of my duties to plan an event. My boss told me that she wanted to look into getting the event catered. Right away, I knew who to call. With the experience that I received just with interviewing with the company I knew that Cosmo catering was going to provide my current employer with amazing service. My boss and I dealt with Nancy over the phone. She was able to listen to all of our needs/wants and come up with a great menu/plan. When the food arrived they set up everything so nicely and it was very presentable. But the food... Oh Em Gee! AMAZING! I constantly received compliments on how this company was a great find and the food was superb! I am happy to say that we will definitely use Cosmo Catering for our future events if we have more. All of their suggestions were right-on. The quality and originality of the food was excellent. And plentiful. It was a very successful, very well presented and well received event thanks to this company. We paid more than we had expected, but we had by far the best food (including small metal bowls of cioppino and scallops!), and the best catered event in our organization's 20 years of annual receptions. This is a top, top caterer with user-friendly staff. I recommend them unhesitatingly.

I cannot express how happy I was with Just Us. I met with Debbie and Hannah (the owners) a week before the reception to review the site, menu plan, etc. The ideas they had were great. The selection of chairs, table and linens was excellent including just the perfect shade of pink. They handled everything the day of the reception. They coordinated the rentals, set up tables, moved furniture, added flowers and the food was picture perfect on tables along the garden patio. And of course, the food!! We decided on finger food items that people could mingle and munch on while chatting. The fruit skewers were so fresh and sweet and the cinnamon yogurt dip was delicious. Turkey finger sandwiches were made special with an tasty cranberry chutney. The roll up sandwiches, Southwestern and Greek, were also wonderfully simple but with soooo much flavor. A variety of crackers were pared with two spreadable cheeses with the Roquefort and walnut spread being the favorite of many guests. And last, but definitely not least, was the desserts - chocolate truffle brownies, lemon bars and triple ginger cookies. The ginger cookies were light, tasty and paired wonderfully with coffee. It was apparent that all the food had been prepared fresh that morning and carefully transported and set up. The two wonderful hosts that were on site throughout the entire event were such a joy to share our day with. They hosted the beverage bar, continuously filled the buffet tables all while taking the time to check with each guest to make sure all was well. I would definitely hire Just Us Catering again. It was our pleasure working with them and thank them so much for making what could have been a stressful and hectic day anything but. When I do, I'll be giving Small Potatoes a call. At a recent benefit in the city, Small Potatoes was one of the contributing vendors, much to our delight. I only sampled two of their offerings: Duck Confit Tacos and Tikka Tikka Shrimp Tostadas. The duck was divine, complimented by sweet cabbage and a dab of rich sauce. The shrimp tostadas were bite-sized stacks of shrimp and goodness that make you close your eyes and smile with your mouth full. They also threw down a massive spread at last year's SF Teachers' Night at the Presidio. If someone gave these out at Halloween, I'd bring a suitcase load of costumes to change through with imminent doorbell damage. Fortunately, no costumes were necessary, as their gracious representative pretended not to notice my endless attempts to invent new excuses for absconding more treats from his table. Finally, I gave up and just said "These are so good, I can't stop!" He just smiled and gave me his card. Yes! They're two blocks from my house. Trick or Treat! +1 star for the coolest catering logo, ever.

Elaine, Christina , Pink ant the whole team were professional and unflappable and detail focused . During the planning meetings, they came up with great ideas and suggestions, based on their extensive experience. Kristina was my contact and planner and she was really great to work with......very professional, prompt with responding to every detail and request and very patient. On the day she was a calm presence, and everything went very smoothly, from set up to take down. The food was luscious. We're "foodies" and rather fussy, so we really wanted a special meal. They even baked 4 custom Tres Leches cakes for us; it's our favourite cake, and we didn't want a traditional wedding cake. Both the chef and pastry chef produce amazing food, our guests loved it. (The size of our event was about 70 guests) If you're looking for a budget event, these guys are not for you, but if you want an elegant and delicious meal, for a high end event, then highly recommend them.

I think the HR (who ordered the food) just told the owner the budget (per person) and the owner just put out a menu for us. We had a simple spring mix salad with vinaigrette dressing, couscous, chicken with asparagus and olives and EXTREMELY FRESH AND BEAUTIFUL mixed berries with chopped mint for dessert. and just one word.. WOW!!!!! Let me tell you.. everyone agreed that it was the BEST office meal so far! The chicken was very moist and tender, perfectly seasoned and loved, loved, loved the broth/sauce from the chicken dripping.... not overly salted, a bit oily but we were all sipping it, gulp, gulp, gulp! so delicious! no calorie counting tonight.. The couscous was delicious too, I loved the crunch from the toasted almonds and the the sweetness from the raisins complemented the meal very well, combination of sweet (not too sweet) and savory. Everyone came back for seconds (and thirds LOL!). I'm sure that we will order more food from them again, thank you for such a great meal!!

Here's what we had: - couscous - cucumber salad - strawberry and pear salad - potato salad - hummus with pita bread - string beans - chicken - lamb Both and chicken and lamb was cooked perfectly, meat falling off bone, not dry and very flavorful. The vegetables and fruit were super fresh... I don't think I could have found better walking through a farmer market the same day. Really good hummus and bread. The only "grease" was juices from the meat and olive oil. All the flavors interacted well, and the tastes were a good mix of familiar and unique. This was good for a high-end restaurant, let alone for catering. I recommend them highly if you ever have a large party to cater. I really hope he starts a restaurant someday...

The thought of cooking for myself alone is nerve-wracking enough let alone a dining room full of foodies. Through an art world acquaintance (the chef paints too!), I learned of The Catering Cooperative and was wowed by the tasting which was merely a glimpse of the fabulousness that the Cooperative unleashed in my home. From start to finish, first meeting to cleanup, Chance and his crew took care of every detail. They were responsive to our group's special desires and the diverse dietary needs and culinary preferences. Chance clearly wanted to be sure we were pleased in the end and he'll be happy to know we most definitely were. The presentation on the night of the dinner was great; it felt like my dining room had transformed into a cozy private space in a just discovered gem in a swank neighborhood. Yes it's got a great view, but it's the same room in which I was working on a jigsaw puzzle that afternoon. And it's still smack dab in the heart of the Excelsior. My buddy really wanted a paella, and the one served was perfection. He said the details of that dish took him back to the trip he'd taken to Valencia Spain just as he'd hoped.
