In addition to jewelry, there are lots of prints, mostly scenes from Hoood River and the Gorge. Also metal sculptures - lots of fish! Amazed at the varieties. Plus ceramics, pottery, framed pictures, handmade soaps and notecards. Great if you are looking for gifts or something special for yourself. Today I fell in love with ceramic coffee mugs shaped like sunflowers. They were exquisite! But I have so many mugs and use the same one everyday so I did a catch and release. Evidently this building used to house a bank and the huge safe is still there against the back right wall. The day I was there, they had several pieces of wood furniture with a live edge, which I love. There was the most amazing high top table - if only I had that kind of money! Also some console tables and a coffee table. All spectacular. Bright glassware, dishes, vases and sculptures also caught my eye as did the pretty pieces of pottery, all displayed in lucite cases and in tables allowing it to be seen. Lots of paintings on the wall and on the partitions. And some enlarged photographs, too, by Brian Chambers. His pictures of the wildflowers with the Gorge in the background are breathtaking! And very affordable for the artistry. Definitely fun to browse and see if something catches your eye that you just have to have! The gentleman working that day was friendly, helpful and in no way pressuring. He let me browse at my leisure and provided answers to my questions. I will check back from time to time as I am seeking a piece of art and have something in mind. I'll know it when I see it!

I don't think I have ever left without a new pair of dangly earrings! The women who work here are friendly and helpful if you need assistance. They also allow you to freely browse without pressure, which I really appreciate. Make sure to make a few laps around the store so you don't miss anything! I go in one direction, then reverse direction the second time; it's amazing how your eyes focus on different items when you approach from a different angle. There are large display cases in the middle filled with jewelry and also on some of the shelves along the perimeter. I really like community art centers, especially when I have a chance to sample a wide variety of styles that local artists offer. I was also lucky to come in during their "seconds" sale and came away with a nicely glazed collection plate.
