The salesman i dealt with promised to deliver half the order within 1 week and the rest in 8 weeks, which after paying a deposit sneaked upto 12 weeks, a week later still no phone call so i called them and was told they don't do that, they only deliver complete orders and told me to contact the branch directly. The salesman who sold to me was conveniently off that week so i couldn't talk to him directly and confront him, his colleague told me she'd tried to call me and left an answerphone message - which she didn't!-(another lie!) explaining that the half order had been inspected and was faulty so they couldn't send it and i'd have to wait 12 weeks for it all. I was then passed to another colleague who said he could get me the half within a week - (miraculously!)if that was the case why did she call me to say she couldn't? oh thats right she didn't - she lied! this salesman did not advise taking half now as the second half coming in 12 weeks probably wouldn't match! Having been lied to by two members of staff I told him i wanted straight answers and no more salesman 'PATTER' he offered to have the full order put on an express delivery for 8-9 weeks(the original time quoted at the shop) insisting noone had lied to me and that it was not that kind of company. We will see what happens next. Was it not for the fact my husband refuses another sofa hunting trip i'd have cancelled and gone elsewhere! This is not a happy customer, My advice - Shop elsewhere! read more
