    Dumpling Soup

I have been going to Sogo with my friends for years and I always enjoy my experience. Sat outside this past weekend and ordered a spicy tuna roll with avocado and plain udon noodles. My boyfriend ordered the cucumber martini, and avocado roll and the dumpling soup. All in all it was good, however, I was not a big fan of the texture of my tuna in my roll. It tasted very good but the texture was more of a harder ground meat kind of texture. But other than that, still love going to Sogo. Also, always love seating outside, nice view of the circle and the happenings around town.

It's great to see restaurants like this still open during COVID time. I was able to eat inside the restaurant and was served by a polite and friendly waiter. The "Thai noodles" (Pad Thai) were outstanding and a generous portion especially for the price. Their "Easton Roll" (tuna & avocado ) was great too. I'll be back whenever I go out to Easton, PA.

Only ate here once. The inside decor is gorgeous. I had monkey roll and eel roll. Probably wont come back. Rolls were good, not special, slightly better than your average small city america sushi. However, they were very overpriced. Good place for date night but not if you are a foodie. If you are ok with takeout, there is a fantastic and superior quality joint that is actually cheaper down the street called Tokyo Sushi. The owner lived in Japan and it shows.

My second dining and another great experience! Sunny recommends the best for your tastes in sushi- just tell him what you like, there is something for any combination of cooked roll or raw sushi craving here! Great for a quick lunch in between time, my favorite time to go! Easton Gem!

I don't want to show any pictures of this place, I don't want anyone loss appetite. AYCE menu? Totally not all you can eat, charge $30 per person, but ACYE menu are small and not much options to choose, forcing customers empty all single dish, sashimi came out like split half off of cuts in regular piece, and cut into thin slices as much as they can, meat qualities are sucks, they gave shits to people eat for the AYCE menu, I was wondering if the owner refused to let customers order more of sashimi, it can limit them and shows on menu underneath or raise up the price, or stop playing AYCE. Veggies salad tasted awful, don't understand why the home made sauce is way too sweet. Tastes so weird. Do they know how to make sauce? If not, please use the regular Caesar or ranch dressing to be good. Also the servers, cooks and sushi chefs will automatically cut off what you orders of amount on menu, they ain't mention to customers why or which items they ain't do it yet, they think customers are like donkeys, it was too tired to keep asking them what it missing and ain't came out yet. Ended up they automatically charged gratuities without notification. Even I know auto grats will charged on big parties, but still as a server or manager they can notify people came sit down before decided order AYCE or menu's, I don't mind to tips, and I do tips for real, also we tipped sushi chefs in separately, but all entire times there we no one is enjoyable, this place sucks, totally not recommended, and never return it back for sure.

I think they primarily do takeout, at least at that time of day. We got a seat in the dining room area. One of the first things that I noticed was that the table we were at was a bit wobbly. If you put your foot on parts of the base, it would shake. Not ideal. It also took a little bit of time to order. We got our menus almost immediately after being seated, but it took maybe 20 minutes to place our food orders. I got the Philadelphia roll and sashimi with tuna and salmon. The Philadelphia roll was actually very big and filling. Quite good. The sashimi was also good - it was just the fish and not the rice (nigiri), which I wish they noted on the menu. One of the employees kids were running around in the restaurant, but it was a Saturday night and I imagine they needed to watch the kids, so I was not upset. Once we were done waiting, we checked out at the front. They had bowl of Halloween candy, as the holiday had just passed, which was nice. Altogether, Hana Sushi & Teppanyaki is a casual restaurant that is nice to get some good sushi at.

Full freight for a 12 year old, despite a very limited appetite. Wish this was made clear on restaurant website. 2) We ordered all-you-can-eat. Nigiri sushi comes with at least twice the ratio of rice-to-fish vs. what I've seen anywhere else. I suspect this controls the cost of AYCE for them (filling us up with rice), but it adversely impacts the flavor. 3) Sushi served without wasabi/ginger, but we asked and were given. Tempura served without dipping broth. This was odd. But the food, including fish, was fresh. The sushi rolls were very nice. Hibachi/teppanyaki steak was tender and delicious. Service was a little slow at first, so we ordered another round of food every chance we could (2 hour limit on AYCE). Bussing was a bit awkward sometimes, but very friendly. Service was earnest and caring. The dining room was basic but pleasant - plenty of space.

I understand it's all you can eat place, which I didn't know going in, but I've been to all you can eat that actually have good food. Here everything is mixed and bushed and ground so they can add other ingredients to the fish to make it appear as if you're getting more, although you're really getting less. All that cost cutting wouldn't be so bad if it at least tasted good, but it was horrible. Big pass on this place.
