Not only was he up front and honest about the whole process. Since I never met him in person, I had my thoughts about what type of DJ he really was. All the info I could find on him was positive. Every bit of it and that made me confident in our choice before even hearing him. We even used their Photo Booth services for our guests and for our guest book! Which came out amazing. Jerry ran the show like he's been doing it for a very long time. The music he played was perfect for the vibe we were looking for. The only problem is that we couldn't let him keep playing past curfew since the dance floor was still packed. Turns out we were very fortunate to have DJ Jerry available after Zeke was booked. "Call the Doctor" was the undisputed champion of the drinks - highly recommend - with the "Ring of Fire" and "Trader Vic's Mai Tai" being tied for a close second. We also enjoyed a mocktail option for our non-boozey folks. Both Sabrina and Chris were also excellent with just the right amount of professionalism mixed with some light-hearted fun! Due to our event location, we opted for their portable bar instead of their trailer and it was adorably decorated "tiki-style" which was the theme of our event. So many of my relatives expressed worry about the pictures not turning out because the backdrop was so bright at the beach ceremony, but as you can see they are wizards with lighting, inside and outside! Could not have asked for better photographers, and they got us these proofs within 12 hours despite promising us proofs in 48 hours. PROs: Veronica is very professional and we love how Josh directed every shot he took. basically, these 2 made posing easy for us during our wedding day. they are ON TIME which i think is VERY important. we got them through Wedgewood Tower reception package and Veronica's rate is reasonably affordable with the amount of knowledge and experience that she has. the photos turned out amazing PLUS she really remembered the details that i have requested her to capture during our pre-wedding meeting. we love the still shots of the wedding styling and the group shots they did with our guests. CONs: not much of a cons except that the pictures take 6 weeks to be ready so if you are that excited to see them, you have to wait for 6 weeks (but it's worth it, really). we also feel that the way they package the USB can be leveled up and improved. i've seen a few packaging from other photographers and they are really pretty (but this isn't a stopper since what's inside the USB is what's more important). if you'd like to capture more emotions or facial expressions during your big day, you may need to let her know as most of their shots will really focus on the couple (minimal on the guests).

Lindsey and her team were everything we could have asked for and everything we didn't know we would need. To say Lindsey was "on top of things" is a gross understatement. Lindsey is a visionary, a designer, an organizer, a planner, an advocate, a friend. She is beyond talented, skilled, professional, direct, responsive, creative, tolerant, and extremely patient. She is the person you want and need to have in your corner. She is the person who will transform your vision into a reality beyond what you could ever imagine. The planning, coordination and design aspects of the process were absolutely effortless on our end. Once our vision was cemented, Lindsey and her team were able to magically bring everything to life beyond our expectations by handling all the tedious backend details that we honestly had no time or patience for! In the very beginning of the planning phase I found myself "checking in" frequently to ensure certain things were going to be handled; however, I quickly realized that my need to "check in" was completely unnecessary as Lindsey was always 10 steps ahead. People warned us about how stressful the actual wedding day can be, so we had mentally prepared ourselves to feel emotionally drained, anxious, overwhelmed, etc. Let me tell you, this could not be farther from the reality of our experience on our day; it could NOT have gone any smoother. The entire day was effortless on our ends, our only responsibility was to show up. My wife and I felt completely and utterly at ease and relaxed. As a direct result of Lindsey and her team's attentiveness, we never had to ask for a thing; they knew exactly what we needed before we even realized we needed it! We also entrusted Lindsey with the responsibility of selecting our photography and videography teams, which both ended up being INCREDIBLE and huge contributors to the success of our event! Having these teams collaborate on our event together felt more like having life-long friends surrounding us as opposed to having a group of strangers in our space who were being compensated to get a job done. Our wedding was originally scheduled…read morefor April 2020 which of course did not happen due to COVID, and we tried to reschedule it several times but bad things kept happening to us including our first baby being stillborn, so it was a super long and dragged out process to finally get the wedding in the books. Kelsey was not only patient and responsive throughout the almost 2 year planning process, but she also helped us out with other things, like recommendations for a spa to get a gift card to thank our amazing planner. We came down to Santa Barbara for a weekend a couple months before the wedding, to meet our vendors and scope things out, and Kelsey provided a TON of input and guidance on places to do our First Look and other photos. She was just so amazingly helpful and kind. But where her kindness really shone through was on our wedding day. She went SO FAR above and beyond to give us the special day she felt we deserved after all our loss (we also had an 11 week miscarriage 8 months after our first baby was stillborn, and my mom was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in the height of our grief). She truly wanted our day to be as perfect as possible and she really delivered. My husband and I are both pretty shy, awkward people so we were super nervous for the photoshoot as we hate people looking at us and being the center of attention. Not only did Kelsey (and our wonderful videographer Jennie from Riviera Productions) make us feel completely at ease, but somehow, magically, she actually made it fun?!?!? Taking the photos between the ceremony and the reception was the most fun part of our wedding day, we had a blast and the photos are absolutely BREATHTAKING. Like straight out of a magazine. I don't know how she did it but she made everything look so beautiful and we could not be more thrilled with the photos. We knew she was good, because I'm the type of person who reads a million reviews and does a ton of research before I book anything or go anywhere, but Kelsey is next level. The photos are far better than anything we could have ever imagined. Even though we live in the Bay Area, we will be using Kelsey as our family photographer forever. She is worth 9 hours in the car round trip. Heck, I'd drive days to see her! If you're trying to decide who to book, stop wasting your time wading through reviews and just book Kelsey already.
