Outside, the aptly named Runway Terrace has several rows of cocktail tables and seats facing the "runway" which is Carrer de Joan Tarrida, the infamously narrow alley with at least 6 gay bars. At night, men packed to overflowing in front of the bars. You are basically walking the catwalk or runway to get there. It's fun to wade through but watch for pickpockets. This became our favorite bar each night where we could observe the passing parade, plus watch which guys are contemplating and then entering Bukkake "Bar" across the way (IYKYK). The servers and bartenders are super friendly. One waiter remembers and treats us as old regulars, and our bar tab was paid up nightly when leaving. Sangrias are good. G&T are popular and gin comes in a huge goblet with separate cans of tonic water. Runway Terrace had an unexpectedly fun and relaxing vibe, but steps away from the action!

Jamie W and I finally tried this bar after sitting next door at Parrots several times (review: https://yelp.to/SCMxKXqy59). Parrots is such a tourist magnet it attracts a cross-section of customers not exclusively gay. That's not the case with the hot pink Runway as it was all male on the terrace and the view was, let's face it, the meat parade on Carrer de Joan Tarrida, otherwise known as the Street of Sin. We had quite the manview as we were served by the friendly Neil supposedly dressed as a flight attendant but looking more like a baggage handler. After all, you can carry the metaphor so far. Since we were in a tropical mood, Jamie had the 9€ Mai Tai, while I went for the 9€ Malibu Bay Breeze, a mix of coconut rum and pineapple & cranberry juices (Photo 9). Let's say we flew the friendly skies. I only noticed weeks later when I finally read the brochure. Wasn't that stupid of me? Don't answer that. Anyway, while Museo del Cau Ferrat represents one man's collection of art, this more expansive exhibit represents the collection of not an artist but a wealthy benefactor. It was American magnate and philanthropist Charles Deering. Yes, the guy who founded International Harvester. Apparently, making his fortune in tractors meant he could afford three floors of art that spans ten centuries of art from the 10th to the 20th century. The style varies from Romanesque and Gothic to Renaissance and Baroque to Modernism. The mirador was particularly striking with the neoclassical statuary set against the Mediterranean background. As we were visiting the shops this place caught my eye with their selection of magnets. Once inside I was in love, art! So many different mediums by an array of talented artists. If you look in the same direction twice you'll see something new every time. In the back there's even a small gallery featuring a different rotating artist, I wish I would have taken some photos, brilliant works. I eventually got back to the magnets and one caught my eye, he looks just like me. I couldn't believe it. Of course I had to purchase him as a keep sake from this amazing visit. See photo. Isn't he's adorable?! We cannot wait to get back to Sitges and of course visit artAmore. Hopefully next time we will have room for a painting or two. Do yourself a favor and stop in, best art shop in Sitges. So much art and love!

They both work the bar. I tried a Pisco Sour for the first time here and I had one again when I came back. Its delicious- I like Sweet/Sour drinks sop this is right up my street . The bar is a reasonable size but it doesnt take much to fill it up. There is an upper room which no-one uses I think. The crowd here is a mixed gay crowd- I think it tends to skew slightly older than the general bars in Sitges. I love it here and recommend a drink here when out on the town.

It was hard to miss on the cobblestone streets of El Baluard. We had absolutely no knowledge about the museum and just noticed a queue in front of it. It might've been because it was International Museum Day, and admission was free. This was the first of two adjoining museums, this one focused on the wrought ironwork and art collections of late 19th century Catalan artist and writer Santiago Rusiñol. They converted two old houses into an exhibition space that reflects his eclectic tastes running from archeological ruins to El Greco paintings. They do have a happy hour, basically you one drink at regular price, show your receipt before midnight and get the 2nd drink for 1€, making 2 beers around 5€. In the back you'll find a trough, a tv showing a selection of bear films as well as some darker spaces to mingle with other guests. Also, BB plays the best music from 80s to indie. On a few rainy nights we spent the evening slurping beers and listening to cool music. The bar is located upstairs above Queenz and has a small patio which gives you a great view of the action at "Bear Alley". With so many bars to choose from, Bear Bar is a standout.

The beans may have been Heinz but they were a bit dried out, I've no idea what they had done to the mushrooms but it wasn't good. The single slice of bacon and sausage were OK and the minute steak was quite tasty if out of place for breakfast. The staff's English was excellent and they even put on an episode of Buffy the vampire slayer for me to watch while I had my breakfast, but if you have a yearning for some British morning fare then I'd suggest you look somewhere else.

Queenz is a class act of club featuring drag shows and though listed as a gay bar, attracts a mixed…read morecrowd. The drag queen performers are top notch, the interior is plush, and though a place of casual dress most patrons come show up elegant casual. In order to understand it, you must first know that Sitges is the number one gay resort of Spain, being somewhat akin to what Province Town or what Key West used to be to the United States. It attracts gays from every part of the world and it is the gay element that is generally credited with making Sitges what it is; one of the most desirable locals in Spain. Everybody there is there for the camp and fun of the place and the meals they serve, though I didn't have one have been reported to me to be among the best in Sitges. For drag, about as good as it gets.
