Then he came by again just to check on us and make sure everything was good, (we hadn't met him the first time as we were out of town). While our well worked great, our water purification system wasn't working despite multiple calls to company that put it in. We called Ryan Huston to see if he could help us. He worked with the equipment company and was able to get the necessary parts and had it all fixed within hours. The other company did nothing to fix the problem except charge us a lot of money and tell us it would take a couple of days for the water to clear. (Shout out to Kristen). I would add for the past 10 years we've had the same tech (Dave,) and his skill set is exceptional and he explains all the problems found and "fixes" for those problems. They replaced the medium in the water neutralizer, that's all they did. My husband had to help the guy open the unit. So there is an extra charge if the homeowner helps! (Jk) When we priced the medium online, we found the exact same brand and product for $26.00 total without shipping for 20 pounds. Culligan charged us $200! That's a hell of a markup. I do not recommend using this store. If you do, be aware of what you're paying for ahead of time. We had the owner of AquaTec replace the medium in the past, but he sold to Culligan. Now, we're not just old customers of the previous owner. We purchased from Culligan an expensive water softener because my husband did not want to do the installation himself.
