The food here is excellent. We started off with the clams and octopus salad which were superb. The clams are garlicky and salty and the perfect appetizer. For our entrees, I split the monkfish skewer and filet. Both of these entrees were great. The monkfish skewer was a little small. It came with three pieces of fish and 3 shrimp along with veggies on the skewer. The filet was cooked perfectly and was super tender. The potatoes that came with the monkfish were also spectacular and probably the best potatoes I had on my trip. Overall, tavola is a great spot to come and have dinner. It is on the pricier side when it comes to foz but the food is very good. The service is good and has English and Portuguese speakers so that is not an issue. We are less than 25% of our food, but it was fantastic. If you like us has been in a car all day and not been working hard / biking 120 km or running a marathon, or is a super hungry teenager I think you can safely share a plate for 1 person.
