Solar Eggs is what I consider a hidden gem, an inviting cafe in the middle of an industrial area. You enter through the store which stocks some nice products including eggs (of course), frozen seafood, meats, cheeses, pasta and breads. We could not resist picking up a carrot cake and fruit pie which were on sale and absolutely scrumptious.
There is a pleasant pet friendly outdoor seating area with blankets provided for chilly mornings/days, relaxing music playing, very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. The vibe is relaxing and refreshing. I ordered the Eggs Benedict - the eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was absolutely delicious and went nicely with the eggs. My partner had the Tomato Bruschetta which came with an aioli and tomato salsa. The ingredients were fresh, the bread was toasted just right, and the portions were generous. They also have a nice choice of teas and coffees. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. read more
