I decided to treat myself to a top shelf pedicure, and Anna ensured my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Her friendly demeanor and professional attitude made me feel at ease, and hee meticulous attention to detail left my nails looking absolutely stunning. The process was gentle and relaxing, with multiple scrubs, gels, lotions, hot rocks, and hot towels and I was thrilled with the final results. French mani/pedi: what is not explained that at this establishment unless you upgrade to gel, they will not paint your nail pink with the white tip. I personally do not like gel, but in my years of having mani/pedis I mostly get french and every single one had pink as standard. I got the deluxe pedi which was quite lovely and gentle, and I prefer over a hard uncomfortable scrub, so I appreciated that and their willingness with no issues to make the water less hot. When the pedi was done, I saw the polish was clear and it was then that they explained the clear vs pink with the gel. I then declined to get the mani. My toenails aren't the prettiest- it looked yellow. I went home and put sparkly on it as is shown in this picture- you all may have a hey day with how yellow it looked beforehand. read more

Came here on a trip to the beach and Ly was AMAZING. She educated me on how to get my nails to grow longer in terms of doing dip, builder gel, acrylics, etc. She found a color in the dip similar to the butter yellow I wanted. When she saw my facial expression that although I liked the color it wasn't exactly what I wanted, she put coats of the exact butter yellow I was looking for!!! Solar nails is a small, no-frills nail salon in a strip mall in the same area as Rouse's Market. We had appointments for three pedicures. They were very busy when we arrived. They took us at three different times with the last being about 20 minutes after our appointment time. The technicians and greeter were all nice and joked around with us. They cleaned the station before each pedicure. The pedicures were basic - soak your feet, trim your nails, buff rough edges, lotion, and nail polish. Pretty typical although they seemed to rush through it a bit. Prices are reasonable. read more

My daughter got 1 full set acrylic with gel $50 & a luxury pedicure $60 & I got a gel manicure $35 & a $60 luxury pedicure. That all equals $205 & then tax at 10% was $20.50 then bill should have been $225.50. How did my bill ended up being $260? Well, I asked and the owner said because with luxury pedicure with gel is extra $15 so that's an extra $30. He says a lot of customers get confused. Well, that's because the price is not listed at all on sign. I wish I had a pic of the sign! If a lot of customers are confused then he should try to improve that but he's benefiting from the confusion. There are 3 options for a pedicure. A regular pedicure, & deluxe, & luxury. But if you add all that together that's still $235 & 10% tax 23.5 would equal $258.50. This is why I don't like going to places I'm unfamiliar with. With my manicure I just wanted gel and she kept saying it won't last long trying to get me to do a different thing. Now, the service that Jerry gave my daughter was top notch. The woman I had kept periodically speaking Vietnamese like she was on the phone via her AirPod because no one was near by us. So, she was one the phone the entire time I had the manicure & possibly the pedicure. One thing I was very appreciative towards was they all sang happy birthday to my daughter which was absolutely wonderful of them. I was happy with most of everything except for the price because it was absolutely ridiculous & the silence of the woman working with me except for her (constant phone call)& periodic Vietnamese she was speaking. Sadly the staff (well most the staff) was really kind and funny! They sadly did the bare minimum for price. They are rushed and messed up my moms nails. Both pedicure and manicure. The manicure for her was redone twice each time with more attitude and nasty remarks. Including her being yelled at "you know nothing" they were unable to understand what she was asking for. A pink and white Acrylic manicure but a more natural pink. As they gave her HOT PINK for the nail bed... I got just gel on my finger tips and less than a week later I have 3 nails left... not only was the pedicure poor but they also cut into my moms skin made her in pain as they did so. She said it the worst pedicure she's ever gotten. sadly for what seems like a good salon and good people it was not. read more

The nails I asked for turned out well but I was overcharged. I asked for dipped nails with extensions which they informed me would be 45 dollars and I checked multiple times. Because I've never had them done before I didn't realize that he was doing something other than dipped because they looked very similar. When he was done the man at the desk said it would be SEVENTY DOLLARS. I said no I was told it would be 45, so he checked with the stylist and informed me that he had done something more expensive but I hadn't asked for it. And I didn't even understand how to say the expensive thing he was saying. My mom wasn't there so I was scared to refuse so I just paid and left but I'm very disappointed that they would do that because I know for a fact I didn't ask for it. read more

I got a pedicure there recently. They really need a more clear menu for pricing. I would have never picked the most expensive one if I had know the foot massage it came with was about 3 seconds of light rubbing and that I wouldn't get the usual pumice exfoliation. There was a little scrubbing but not what you get for less at other places. And you can tell my feet definitely needed a little extra work. My toe polish is okay but it's a little messy, not better that what I can do myself. Which is the only reason to have someone else do it, in my opinion. I wouldn't go back. read more
